Reviews about "favoritism"

Pros
They pay for CDA It's easy to take days off for work/life balance
Cons
Constantly short staffed Sometimes it can take an hour or more to get a bathroom break so your bladder hurts Management plays favoritism A 'director' has a baby in the infant room and spends a lot of time in the infant room rather than doing their job. Management constantly lies During my interview the director constantly said they were transparent, turns out they aren't The team lead shouldn't be working with kids The 'director' 99% of the time will only give breaks to the teachers in the infant room because their child is in there When you ask for supplies the classroom needs (cleaning, paper towels, etc) the team lead will forget to bring it and hours later you have to remind her If you need supplies for activities and request them, it takes months before you get them, and you have to remind management It's so stressful to work there because management is unorganized and forgetful Staff can get away with showing up 15-30minutes late to work or from break consistently without consequences Management is so desperate to keep teachers that they will 'look-the-other-way' when someone does something wrong Teachers are hired with ZERO experience with infants, toddlers, and kids - example: a teacher is in the infant room has NEVER changed a diaper or even held a baby. There's only one bathroom for all staff and you often have to wait 10 plus minutes to use it

Cons
Can't get sick for the first year i got sick once and had a doctors excuse, still got a written warning. Also they make you do alot of work for minimum wage. They also have favoritism with teachers some teachers will get away with alot of stuff. but the new teachers cant mess up once.
