Pros
i really can't think of any, more cons than normal
Cons
False sense of work/family balance. Up Management Had no experience in ECE, Important licensing violations and other legal issues were not properly taken care off. Very two-faced and doesn't really care about the families they service or the amount of training that the staff recieve. Low Pay for staff and support is very minimal.

Pros
Great Director and Team Lead
Cons
Hours are horrible and pay is not enough. Starting off is $9.00/hour

Pros
You’ll have the opportunity to work with some amazing kids. Often from dawn to dusk.
Cons
Absolutely zero work/life balance. After years of seeing them in action, it’s clear that overworking management is part of the business model. Ignore promises made in this regard. You WILL be exploited. You are expected to plug all the holes in the schedule with your body. In the current employment market, there are always holes. As a director you’ll work nearly 60 hours a week, every week. You’ll be perpetually understaffed. You can expect most of your quality employees to leave for better pay at competing centers. They do not invest in the facilities beyond the absolute minimum. Many locations are old and in disrepair. At this point, the repairs and patches all have repairs & patches on them! Pay is very low for all the skills and level of commitment/ownership they expect. For what you are working hour-wise, you earn less than an hourly employee at Target.

A strong network of peers, school leadership and corporate support all contribute to providing a positive environment for our school-based employees. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the level of support you received from upper management. Thank you again for sharing your perspective.

Pros
Consistent hours Working with kids every day.
Cons
Pay is nowhere near enough for the amount of work you are required to do. Responsible for cleaning everything in the classroom as well as any public area and every bathroom. Never leave on time. The student to teacher ratio is too high. Management not as involved or as helpful as they need to be. (maybe this was just at my center) but, no student was ever suspended or kicked out no matter the number of disruptive/aggressive offenses.

Pros
It's a great family-friendly environment. I believe the curriculum is the best in the business. The kids have fun with the activities and they are learning and getting prepared for school.
Cons
Upper management wants to hire degreed teachers but is unwilling to pay a competitive rate for those teachers. Most of the teachers have only a high school diploma. All La Petite buildings are in bad shape. Most were built in the 60's and 70's and have had no updates. Families looking for care today want a structrually sound, state-of-the-art facility and La Petite does not provide that.
