Low pay, poor benefits, stressful and chaotic work environment

Experience working with kids and good training.
Cons
Manager was very bad, day care was extremely unclean, and there are too many rules when dealing with kids.

The interview was pleasant enough and I was offered the job on the spot. Most of my coworkers were helpful and supportive, and I genuinely enjoyed working with the kids. I felt I had adequate training.
Cons
The pay was meager. It was not enough to live off of even with the special certifications. This lead to low morale and sabotage within the company, making it hard to work in that environment.

Pros
Daycare is definitely the field to work in if you enjoy working with kids, you’ll definitely enjoy going to work

The pay could be better. And teacher to children ratio should be considered. There could be more help for sure!

I love the management at my center, friendly staff (most of them) and love working with the kids. Great starter career to get your foot in the door.
Cons
Not enough support when working with difficult children, teachers do not get paid nearly enough for what they do. Teachers also do not always get enough supplies that they need for the classrooms due to lack of money.
