I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The people here really care about you and their jobs. You are surrounded by passionate, caring people that want you to succeed. People are motivated to succeed because they are surrounded by driven people. The culture IS amazing because people care.

    Cons

This isn't a con - it's just the way it is - Sales at LaSalle is a grind and it's really hard - if you're not willing to put the work in and work really hard then this isn't the place for you. There is a lot expected of you and there will be long days, weeks, hours, etc. BUT there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

    Advice to Management

Implement soft skill training into training - we are in an industry where soft skills are so important and I think this is an important aspect in training that is missing and could be really valuable for placing people on different teams etc.

Thanks for the review. We are working hard to continue to evolve our training program. Soft skills are a long term development program. I wish they could be developed overnight, however it's truly a several year grind to change and evolve soft skills. In fact, most people think ...

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

My manager was the most supportive and helpful person I ever worked for and I honestly loved working under this person Access to senior leadership Great, fun company culture Great benefits Paid volunteer hours Room for growth (if you make it)

    Cons

So here’s the thing. I loved LaSalle with all my heart and soul and gave my everything to this job and this company. I was on the sales team. They tell you that LaSalle will invest in you and train you and develop you which I do believe is true. I received more coaching here than anywhere and I believe that I have developed immensely as a professional because of LaSalle. However the problem lies in the industry and the...

    Advice to Management

ELT - the culture you have created at LaSalle is wonderful, and I would have stayed forever if you let me. However your rigidness in pushing fresh graduates who have never had a sales career in an already difficult industry with a high learning curve to hit benchmarks that may be easy for one person but not for another is really off base. You can’t say that you invest in training and development and then fire people at...

This is not even close to being a fair representation of your time with our company. We had multiple coaching sessions with you, direct feedback to not achieving set goals.... that other people hit. I appreciate your saying how much you loved the company and wish you could ...

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I was a fresh graduate and moving states when LaSalle gave me an opportunity. I work with an amazing group of people in an office where our work ethic is second to none. People succeed here by doing things the right way and having a blast while doing it. You’re first job does not have to be a ‘stepping stone’, it is an opportunity to be a part of something great and LaSalle gave me that.

    Cons

Recruiting is not for everyone, you must be willing to put in the hours and deal with many personalities. You work with human beings on a daily basis and that can be a challenge. You must maintain a strong work ethic and do things the right way.

    Advice to Management

The doors for our CEO and CFO are always open and our Chief Revenue Officer sits across from me. They welcome new ideas and when a challenge is presented they open it up for the team to discuss solutions. Companies talk about open door policy, but employees are too scared to actually take advantage of that. People who use upper management as a resource and not a barrier succeed at LaSalle Network.
