I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Amazing culture, I love working with people who actually care about me and want to make me better. I don't know very many companies where your CEO sends you a text when you're not feeling well.. truly a family atmosphere. We work very hard and we play hard too! In addition to our culture, there is a great potential for growth. I was promoted after 4 months, it is great to be rewarded for your hard work and you sure get...

    Cons

The work life balance isn't great but it's the nature of the business. So, if you don't want to work hard then LaSalle probably isn't for you.. but that's ok!

    Advice to Management

The accesses to management is incredible but as we continue to grow, continue to make time for one on one meetings with employees so we can continue to learn and get individual attention.

Thanks for your review and your feedback on one-on-ones. It's something we are focused on and talk about a lot as a management team. We want to make sure everyone is getting the time and training they need to grow.

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

To be honest, because of the reviews that I saw on Glassdoor, I was hesitant to accept an offer from this company. However, it's important to remember that people don't hide behind their keyboards to say nice things... my time at LaSalle has been unlike any other job I've ever had. I have felt welcomed with open arms since day 1 and have already grown so much professionally through my role there. If you want to be challenged...

    Cons

Like any job, it's a job. Recruiting isn't for the weak of heart. In this field of work it's necessary to have a hard work ethic. Yes the hours can be long, but the reward of what you accomplish in a work day makes it worth it. This recent graduate generation doesn't understand sometimes that you have to work hard to get the benefits! If you don't want to work, you probably should look else where. But working for a company...

    Advice to Management

With the company growing, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by all of the new employees. Maybe find new ways to bring people together within the company, so you have the chance to branch out more from just your unit.

Thanks for the feedback and we are continually trying to get units to cross communicate and collaborate. I will bring that to the management meeting and staff council. Thanks!

I worked at LaSalle Network for less than a year

    Pros

-Chicago office is a good location -Tom Gimbel is a great leader and gets to know every employee -The training program is effective

    Cons

-No diversity at all -Feels more like a fraternity/sorority than a company -Cannot ask people for advice because it will seem as though you don't like the job -Cannot voice concerns because it will seem as though you don't like the job -If you even so much as look as if you are unhappy you will be talked to by two VPs of the company and it will be lightly suggested that you resign even if the work you were doing was...

    Advice to Management

I would advise management to give people time to adjust to the job (at least one month). I would also advise the management team to maybe go through a middleman when first talking to an employee so it doesn't feel as threatening, and if the first conversation doesn't work, then talk directly to the employee.

    I worked at LaSalle Network

    Pros

Fun company culture. Fair amount of opportunities for advancement if you let it be known that you would like to move up in the company.

    Cons

Fair amount of information lost in communication between teams when passing candidates along. Compensation package well below entry level market average.

    Advice to Management

Retool onboarding process as means to ensure that recruiters will know who to pass impressive candidates along to. Furthermore, more check-ins with recruiters to ensure that their output is optimal.

I have been working at LaSalle Network

    Pros

    Friendly people around the office

    Cons

I hate the fact that they call in people for interviews without really considering their resumes. On so many occasions people were called in only to be told that they were "overqualified" and that we, as a company, cater mostly to kids right out of college in an entry level capacity. So many people have come up to me asking why they were even called in to come to their loop office when their resumes have not been carefully...

    Advice to Management

Smiles can only go so far. Do not waste people's time asking them to come in for an interview only to tell them that they are overqualified. I feel for these people!

I have been working at LaSalle Network

    Pros

Outstanding company with awesome growth potential. Honestly have never found a job that I enjoyed so much. My co-workers great and so are the managers. Overall easily the best company I have ever worked for. The CEO is a down-to-earth guy and I couldn't be any luckier. Also, food gets catered on Thursday

    Cons

No real cons honestly, I enjoy the company and what I do.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!!

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time

    Pros

The management will develop you as a professional if you are willing to work hard. They are committed to training and allowing experiences in which to grow. The atmosphere is really energetic and team based which makes things more fun. It is nice that they divide up sales and service, so that employees can concentrate on whatever they feel is their strength. Team based concept is really good and enhanced synergy. The...

    Cons

You have to work long hours and it felt like you had to do "face time" to some extent. If you were at a good place with your placements, you still could not just leave after 5. Not fun to wait around until someone else was brave enough to pack up for the day! Leaving for a full lunch outside the office most days was not a reality. Management certainly recognized hard work and merit, but who was invited to the management...

    Advice to Management

Allow your staff a better quality of life (encourage a lunch hour, Friday off after Thanksgiving). You could offer floating holidays to those who work the Christmas Eve or the day after Thanksgiving. Your people work really hard and let them enjoy time outside work and a chance to relax after an intense day. Make sure that people don't feel that they are "in or out" and have a policy of inclusion.

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time

    Pros

Colleagues were friendly and for the most part there to help.

    Cons

The company tends to hire fresh grads with absolutely no experience as Project "Managers". It was frustrating putting in strong effort for months on end while watching college grads with absolutely no experience other than a possible two month internship being brought in directly into a position that I had been working towards for months. The CEO says he does not "micromanage" however he spends most of his day walking...

    Advice to Management

Give more respect to your employees. Appreciate their hard work and reward it rather than insulting them by giving their next promotion to a fresh grad with no experience what so ever.
