I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than a year

    Pros

LaSalle Network is a great place to work for a variety of reasons. I think the most important thing is that we are a family. Everyone works together both professionally and personally. We celebrate the good things and help each other through the bad. LaSalle Network is very team based which is a great way for us to get our candidates placed and to support our clients. My other favorite part about the company is how...

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than a year

    Pros

LaSalle Network continually challenges and pushes me to become better every day. Our company culture and our team based approach to recruiting is what separates us from other recruiting firms. The people I work with genuinely care and want to help me succeed. Upper management consistently provides helpful feedback and coaching that challenges me to become a better recruiter. At LaSalle Network you are not just a number,...

The recruiting industry has longer hours than your standard 9-5. If you love what you do, the days literally fly by, though!

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

*** I've legitimately never heard a single member of our leadership team or our marketing team pressuring people to write a POSITIVE review on any site or through any survey. There are certainly reminders and follow up asking people to complete surveys, but how would they make sure we only write positive things on anonymous surveys? Not sure how that logic works. The follow up is geared toward soliciting feedback, whether...

    Cons

    - I know I'm just repeating what a lot of people have said, but it's not for everyone. The hours honestly are more conducive to recent grads, who don't have families/spouses. However, seeing as I am in this phase of my life, I don't understand the reasoning behind not want to take advantage of it to work hard and move my career forward as much as possible. - Rapid growth leads to people feeling like they're being passed...

    Advice to Management

All the intentions are there! The execution will take time, but please keep asking for feedback and listening to your employees. Paying careful attention to refining our processes is becoming more and more important as we are growing so quickly, and if we don't make sure we're doing the due diligence, issues will snowball.

Really appreciate the review and the candor. Thanks for taking the time to write one. You definitely paint a clear picture of what it's like to work at LaSalle - two way accountability is huge, as is two - way transparency. We are in a high growth phase right now, and learning as ...

    Pros

Great at giving the perception that you are a member of the team.

    Cons

Lack of follow up. Lack of record tracking. Should make it clear that they are a temporary agency and no a consulting company. There is a big difference.

    Advice to Management

Be upfront. Adjust policy for professional consultants. Make it known to season professional consultant that you are only a temp agency.

    Pros

Great company culture! Like-minded, hard working individuals who I not only call co-workers, but also friends. LaSalle has offered me a career opportunity that I have yet to see anywhere else. It is truly a place where your hard work pays off and gets recognized. The team based approach to recruiting ensures a positive work environment where everyone is willing to jump in and help each other out. I am forever grateful...

    Cons

Agency recruiting as a whole requires long days and making yourself available outside of normal business hours. I have never been required to stay "late" but have simply chosen to hold myself accountable and put in the time that is required to get the job done.

Thanks so much for sharing your insights. Your perspective about holding yourself accountable is exactly the mentality we hope runs throughout the entire organization and one that we try to instill in all employees.

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The team at LaSalle is like no place I've worked before or since. Though the hours are long, it doesn't seem so stressful when you're working alongside people you truly call your friends. LaSalle does a great job of hiring really smart and motivated people internally, which means there is always someone who has your back and can help you out in a pinch, and always someone to learn from. I felt very supported there, and...

    Cons

The hours are long (expect 10+ hour workdays) but the culture makes it worthwhile.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have enough staff so that no one is stretched too thin and BDM's orders get filled - everyone will be happier and thus more productive that way. Try as hard as you can to maintain the great culture you've established, even as you grow... working alongside people with positive attitudes was so critical!!

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A company culture where you can rely on and trust the person sitting next to you. A culture of peers that challenge each other and don't accept anything less than your best effort and expect a positive attitude, but understand when you've got stuff going on outside of your career. A senior management layer that is hands on, nurturing, and approachable. Vacation and compensation are generous, but the onus is on you to...

    Cons

I personally do not see any cons with the organization. However, I know from being in the industry for 3 years now that recruiting is not for everyone. Employees who have left or had a bad experience here have complained primarily about long hours, but in my evaluation those are people that expected a 9-5. The fact of the matter is, if you want to punch a clock, there are plenty of places for you to go do that. LaSalle...

    Advice to Management

One of the greatest qualities about life at LaSalle Network is that if I do have any advice for Management, I can walk into their office and give it to them in person. So my only advice here is don't ever let that change.
