I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

From day one it has been obvious LaSalle has something different and unique happening. There is a ton of communication. The CEO, Tom Gimbel, has been incredibly transparent and engaged at all levels. My role as PMO Manger is to come in and initiate change management. This is usually scary and uncertain for people. However, everyone has been warm, welcoming, and excited about the plans we are working on. They collectively...

    Cons

The chairs outside Tom's office should be Cardinal's instead of Cubs :) Other than that I have zero complaints.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great communication and transparency. I appreciate the humor and fun mixed in with the messages. Even with the fast growth make sure everyone has an opportunity (hopefully different than mine - physically speaking) to know that they are one of us and we take care of our own.

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

My manager was the most supportive and helpful person I ever worked for and I honestly loved working under this person Access to senior leadership Great, fun company culture Great benefits Paid volunteer hours Room for growth (if you make it)

    Cons

So here’s the thing. I loved LaSalle with all my heart and soul and gave my everything to this job and this company. I was on the sales team. They tell you that LaSalle will invest in you and train you and develop you which I do believe is true. I received more coaching here than anywhere and I believe that I have developed immensely as a professional because of LaSalle. However the problem lies in the industry and the...

    Advice to Management

ELT - the culture you have created at LaSalle is wonderful, and I would have stayed forever if you let me. However your rigidness in pushing fresh graduates who have never had a sales career in an already difficult industry with a high learning curve to hit benchmarks that may be easy for one person but not for another is really off base. You can’t say that you invest in training and development and then fire people at...

LaSalle Network continually challenges and pushes me to become better every day. Our company culture and our team based approach to recruiting is what separates us from other recruiting firms. The people I work with genuinely care and want to help me succeed. Upper management consistently provides helpful feedback and coaching that challenges me to become a better recruiter. The recruiting industry has longer hours than your standard 9-5. If you love what you do, the days literally fly by, though!

    I worked at LaSalle Network

    Pros

Fun company culture. Fair amount of opportunities for advancement if you let it be known that you would like to move up in the company.

    Cons

Fair amount of information lost in communication between teams when passing candidates along. Compensation package well below entry level market average.

    Advice to Management

Retool onboarding process as means to ensure that recruiters will know who to pass impressive candidates along to. Furthermore, more check-ins with recruiters to ensure that their output is optimal.

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The company culture is amazing and although you won't have a good work/life balance, you will make many friends at LaSalle. My coworkers became my family and friends. Everyone works incredibly hard and is very encouraging to their teammates.

    Cons

You will work crazy hours and although you are allowed a lunch break, everyone (for the most part) eats at their desk so they can work through lunch.
