I worked at LaSalle Network full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The people that you meet, and work with, can be some of the most energetic and motivating people. LaSalle does a very good job of creating an inter-team culture that helps to create close relationships. Additionally, most of the people at the company do care about the company's success. Some people are nice and approachable, although there's a good chunk of people that can seem outright mean. Training and development...

    Cons

A common answer for why LaSalle is great is the culture, however I would have to disagree. I think that the culture is intending to be something that it's not. Overall, it feels as though if you are not 100% sold on the company, are not okay with working long hours, are not constantly smiling or excited to be at work, and are not screaming and hyped up at the weekly meetings,...

    Advice to Management

Some of the best hires that have been made, especially on the management side, have been from outside organizations. Really consider bringing on more outside candidates as they bring a different perspective than people promoted from within. This is especially so when you want to find people that have similar traits culture-wise, but a different viewpoint on how a company and coworkers should behave. It is possible...

This is such an articulate, well written review. I believe this type of review is how Glassdooor was intended and I greatly appreciate your feedback. I agree, there can be cliques and that sucks. It’s hard and it exists within every organization, including ours. I read and attend ...

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time

    Pros

Fast paced, very committed, hard working environment. Lots of exposure to executive level. Very open discussions on successes and failures. Opportunity to make your own path within your team and the greater company structure.

    Cons

Fast pace and long hours can be intimidating at first. Sometimes new hires feel under prepared as they get acclimated to the culture and work load.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be transparent in communication as we grow and develop our units. Direct, constructive critique and candor are very appreciated in this environment and the employees who thrive and perform best here.

Thanks for the feedback and the insight on how new hires might be feeling as they enter our environment. It's something we are cognizant of, and as we grow, is even more crucial to keep a pulse on.

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I have been a LaSallian for almost a year now and I can't imagine working anywhere else. I love what I do and I love the people I do it with. I am challenged every day by both my peers and management. Everyone knows my name and cares about my career and my potential. Management is accessible and receptive. The more you invest in LaSalle, the more LaSalle invests in your.

    Cons

Long hours but at the end of the day it is so worth it.

    Advice to Management

    Never change.

    Pros

    - The Culture is built on genuinely caring about co-workers - Motivation comes from both leadership and peers - Healthy competition is pervasive - Achievements are recognized and rewarded - Your performance directly impacts your paycheck - If you work hard and have a great attitude, you have the opportunity to take control of your career

    Cons

    - If you think 50-55 hours is a long work week, the hours are "long"

Thanks for the feedback - Hopefully the investment from me in our recent offsite training, as well as investing in an internal training department demonstrates we are committed to ongoing training and development. This is a big priority for us as we grow.

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than a year

    Pros

LaSalle Network has been an absolute blessing when looking back at my time here as compared to where I was prior to now. I find the work to be thoroughly challenging and rewarding which was something desperately lacking from my previous employment. We have an environment where we are encouraged to ask for forgiveness instead of permission and are able to learn on a daily basis. Our managers are easily accessible and...

    Cons

This job can be very challenging and the hours are long at times. These things are true and are reflected in multiple reviews prior to mine. It is not for everyone, but people who want to be here and try their hardest are rewarded for their efforts in numerous ways. Those things are consistently mentioned during the interview process and there is a lot of support when the individual starts to support them as best as possible....

    Advice to Management

Nothing really! As we continue to expand I hope that we are able to maintain this culture and support system as I know it sets us apart!

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time

    Pros

LaSalle Network is made up of millennials and a rock star C-Suite that truly cares about their employees. Tom, the CEO, holds weekly open calls where recruiters can bring up any roadblocks they are having and the entire company helps brainstorm solutions and a weekly meeting where successes are celebrated and announcements shared. Rebirthday celebrations are always personalized and fun too. My team's manager and team...

    Cons

The hours at LaSalle are very long- their typical hours are 8-6, however everyone arrives early/stays late and works on weekends, which can feel pressured and frustrating if you have interests outside of work. When they tell you in the interview that they work long hours they are not kidding and you will not be happy if you want to be out by 5:30 or 6 most nights. The work for...

I have been working at LaSalle Network

    Pros

dynamic environment, different everyday. They don't crucify you if you make a mistake...they actually help you do your job better. Management cares about whether people do well. They give you a lot of autonomy and empower you to trust your judgment.

    Cons

This is probably not particular to LaSalle but I think with recruiting, it is hard to turn your "work brain" off. You start caring about your clients and candidates, and it can be hard to be jealous with your time. I think working here is not for everyone. The hours are long but you have the opportunity to make a big impact! I think that most things that are hard to do are often the most rewarding! And it is very fast...
