I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

LaSalle Network is a great place to work for a variety of reasons. I think the most important thing is that we are a family. Everyone works together both professionally and personally. We celebrate the good things and help each other through the bad. LaSalle Network is very team based which is a great way for us to get our candidates placed and to support our clients. My other favorite part about the company is how...

I worked at LaSalle Network for more than 2 years

    Pros

I worked at LaSalle for 2 years and recently left. The people there are what make it one of the best places to work in Chicago. Everyone there is smart, kind, and hard working. Its a very easy place to walk into every morning. I left LaSalle because third party recruiting was no longer for me and wanted to change career paths. I had a number of open and honest conversations with our C-suite and management about my long...

    Cons

The hours are rough if you're facing a long commute. They are not strictly "8 am - 6 pm", you're very likely to work outside of that. Combine that with the tight PTO plan and people's work life balance often suffers. People usually look past this because of the company's great culture, but if you value a strong work life balance it may not be the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep bringing in great people and being transparent from the top down! It really is what makes LaSalle Network so special.

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 9 years

    Pros

This place is so much more than a job for me. It has become a place where I have been supported to grow professionally and personally. I’ve been able to exercise my individuality and creativity. The coaching and mentoring from some incredible people is second to none. The encouragement and support I’ve been given in some of the hardest times in my personal life is unparalleled. All I can say is I feel so lucky. But in...

    Cons

If you are uncomfortable being vulnerable, and asking for help, then you probably aren’t a fit here. The more you open yourself up here the better- which isn’t how everyone likes their workplace to be. It suits me, and that’s why I love it. But it depends on the person! I’d also like to address the negative comments because some of them really frustrate me. If someone feels bullied (????) they should speak up and...

    Pros

Incredible Culture! Everyone is high energy, and driven to win the right way! There is unbelievable support both professionally and personally. All you see all day are smiles on the faces of people in the office. The environment is contagious.

    Cons

The only downside I can think of is the team is growing out of the building, and we need to expand. The hours are what they need to be and there are no other concerns I have.

    Advice to Management

Keep adding great people like you have been

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

LaSalle Network has been an absolute blessing when looking back at my time here as compared to where I was prior to now. I find the work to be thoroughly challenging and rewarding which was something desperately lacking from my previous employment. We have an environment where we are encouraged to ask for forgiveness instead of permission and are able to learn on a daily basis. Our managers are easily accessible and...

This job can be very challenging and the hours are long at times. These things are true and are reflected in multiple reviews prior to mine. It is not for everyone, but people who want to be here and try their hardest are rewarded for their efforts in numerous ways. Those things are consistently mentioned during the interview process and there is a lot of support when the individual starts to support them as best as possible....

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

This “Best and Brightest” review sounds like a personal problem versus a LaSalle Network problem. It’s hard to give weight to such a scathing review from someone who has been here “over a year” and is still choosing to work here. It just shows that they don’t have a sound mind, so that mind can’t be trusted. The amount of disrespect you’re giving to your employer that has “simply not” fired you for the amount of time...

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time

      Pros

The people at LaSalle Network truly do make the difference. In an industry that is very competitive and often cutthroat, the opposite is the case at LaSalle. Teams really do work together and everyone is extremely supportive of one another, professionally and personally. Questions are encouraged and there is always someone willing to help without acting bothered. The HR and executive management teams are approachable,...

      Cons

This is not a con about LaSalle Network in particular; staffing and recruiting is an intense industry that sometimes includes rejection, requires a lot of work and patience and is absolutely not a 9-5 job. For example, if you have a star candidate that can only speak at 7pm on a Friday after work, you need to be making that call at 7pm and your plans can wait. To be successful in this industry, it takes flexibility...

Thanks for your feedback. Your description of the industry as a whole is spot on...that being said, we do strive to show our candidates and clients that we have their best interests at heart and it's great to hear that during your time at LaSalle you felt this way.
