I worked at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Good location & young, team-based group.

    Cons

Almost everything about this place is a huge red flag. Questionable business practices at best, coupled with a CEO who demands constant praise and attention leads to a brainwashed and unoriginal workforce... Very little support from management and even less investment in professional development. While they do recruit for a lot of companies, sales is entirely quota and metrics-driven-- expect to work 12+ hour days,...

    Advice to Management

Change everything you're doing now--50%+ of annual turnover. If you lose roughly half of your employees each year, something needs to change.

To say we offer very little professional development is just not true. We have one trainer for every 50 employee. That’s a terrific ratio. Management is heavily involved in recruiting and sales, out to the c-suite. 50% annual turnover isn’t accurate either. You can be critical ...

I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    - Anything I’ve wanted to achieve at LaSalle, I’ve been able to... not without hard work and it wasn’t spoon fed to me, but I feel LaSalle has done a good job of listening to me, understanding me, and giving me the tools and the path to earn the money or the promotion that I wanted. It wasn’t easy, but as with anything good in life - you have to work for it. My mom always told me growing up “control your career”, and...

    - vacation days. It’s a pretty standard package to start, but we do work really hard... would love to see a little more flexibility on vacation or time out of the office as needed. - I see other people write in this section that this job isn’t a 9-5... what job is anymore?? The hours don’t bother me.

    Advice to Management

    - I don’t see ELT as often as other people say they do. I’d love to have more of a relationship with our executives like it seems a lot of the more tenured folks have. I know that comes in time and is on us to connect with you too but maybe by being visible in the office more often some of us newer folks would be less intimidated to get to know you when we do see you. Other then our cfo and head of HR, I really don’t...

    Pros

LaSalle Network is a great place to work for a variety of reasons. I think the most important thing is that we are a family. Everyone works together both professionally and personally. We celebrate the good things and help each other through the bad. LaSalle Network is very team based which is a great way for us to get our candidates placed and to support our clients. My other favorite part about the company is how...

    Pros

LaSalle Network continually challenges and pushes me to become better every day. Our company culture and our team based approach to recruiting is what separates us from other recruiting firms. The people I work with genuinely care and want to help me succeed. Upper management consistently provides helpful feedback and coaching that challenges me to become a better recruiter. I have been working at LaSalle Network full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

I have been with LaSalle Network for over a year now and I couldn't be more thankful that I found this company. Every day is different, and there are new challenges to overcome, but it keeps you on your toes and you continue to learn and grow. The best part is that your teammates and the entire company becomes a part of your family. If you are having a hard time personally or professionally, they are there to pick you...

    Cons

Every workplace has it's minor challenges, but there is nothing so overwhelming that it needs to be documented in a review. One of the best parts about LaSalle is that if you are feeling upset or frustrated with something, there is an open door policy to management. You can vocalize your concerns and they will help right away. No need to hide behind a negative review.

    Advice to Management

There is not much advice I can give, other than to keep supporting and caring for your teams! We appreciate you.

Thanks for the kind words and sharing your perspective. I'm glad you feel we've created a place where things - both positive and constructive - can be discussed openly without fear of repercussions. We've worked hard to build that and are focused on maintaining it while we grow.

    Pros

Great culture, leadership, and learning environment! The team-based collaborative approach makes LaSalle such a unique place! Everyone has a strong work ethic, and it never goes unnoticed. Tom acknowledges everyone, so you will never feel like a number, he will even sit down with you one-on-one to help with anything needed!

    Cons

Hours can be long - but can be avoided with proper time management.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing - the open door policy and access to leadership makes LaSalle what it is!

I worked at LaSalle Network full-time

    Pros

Very team based. Open, learning environment.

    Cons

This company is geared toward fresh grads. Anyone with professional experience outside the staffing industry will likely have a hard time here. While the company makes a point to promote from within, you'll notice that nearly the entire leadership team has never worked elsewhere. That makes it difficult for them to see that some company practices should be changed.

    Advice to Management

Management should know that much of the staff are fearful of losing their jobs. Practicing empathy rather than using scare tactics can go a long way in retaining staff.

I have been working at LaSalle Network

    Pros

This company is in the business of creating professionals. Whether you're a fresh grad or someone with experience like myself, you'll benefit from the amazing internal development and training programs within the company. I've learned more about recruiting strategy in the last 6 months at LaSalle than I've learned in my last 6 years of recruiting. There can be some long hours and the work load can be intense, but when you're in a revenue generating role you want a lot on your plate so you can close more business and make more commission for yourself and your team. The long hours aren't mandatory, but if you give a damn you're not going to leave until you feel like you have your orders covered. It sounds cheesy, but it's true: LaSalle Network is the hardest job...
