      We'd like to pay you more, but it's not in the budget

      Pros

      They recognize when people have valuable skills and will give them a lot of responsibility.

      Cons

      I was promised a raise at my 6 month evaluation ($1-$5 per hour increase based on performance). After a glowing review and talks of my future with the company, I had to bring up the subject about a salary increase and the owner of the company told me, "We'd like to pay you more, but it's not in the budget." I was fired a month later for "performance not up to Lab Four standards."

      Pros

      Has some great programs in place for those that qualify. Friendly staff that helps bait in you in like it's a cool place to work.

      Cons

      No formal training. The Owner comes in and changes what he wants you to do without asking what you can do or assuming you knows what he is thinking you should do outside of what you were hired to do. Constantly changing staff ( people are fired without warning all the time) so it's difficult to work as a team. This is no place to be if you are looking for a great career or advancement!
