I have been working at Labor Finders part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Plenty of work in the warm months. Excellent stop gap place to work if between jobs

    Cons

Little work during colder months unless already working for a company daily

    Advice to Management

Need to locate more indoor work during colder months

I worked at Labor Finders (More than 10 years)

    Pros

None for me. I have gone up to the one in Okeechobee. They only send out men to work if you are not a man with construction experience. Then don't even go up there.

    Cons

there are not at this present time. they discriminate against women and people with disables.

    Advice to Management

Change The man that works at your Okeechobee Office. I worked for Labor Finders when Chris Shirley was in charge I always had a job. women should have a job to. i"m not the only one female that has had that experience. I've talked to other females have not been sent out for being a woman. What a shame in a small town people should be able to have this opportunity to work some where when in between jobs or like myself who has some disabilities but can still work in jobs such as office jobs etc.

I worked at Labor Finders full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Office manager was a super guy, helped get my car back on the road.

    Cons

One office worker in particular showed way to much favoritism with certain people. Many people, including myself, would make the effort to show up when they opened 5:30 am and she would send out people, her favorites, right when they walked in leaving those who came in bright in early to sit and more than likely not even go out that day!!! SHE needs to no longer be working there!!!!!

I have been working at Labor Finders part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There isn't a set schedule, so you work at your own will. You pretty much have a job at all times. Even when I gain permanent employment elsewhere.

    Cons

    There isn't always steady employment.

    Advice to Management

When a company specifically request and praises an employee, don't discourage them by not sending them back immediately due to that employee not being there long. Encourage that employee by sending them back out to the company.
