    Pros

Friendly staff , Team effort, personal time and vacation time good. Holiday pay and sick pay ,gift certificate for birthday and Christmas

    Cons

All about bottom line. Paradies Corporate management disconnected from daily concerns and issues of locations. Lost it's family focus since being sold (twice).

    Advice to Management

Lost the family culture. Has become like every other cookie cutter retailer with the same cookie cutter management style. Good luck with that !

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Met some great people
    Made some lasting friendships

    Cons

    Negative motivation and fear tactics
Rules are too strict and absurd - feels like you're a prisoner or robot
Head office turns a blind eye to bullying from middle managers
Little respect for lower levels of staff

    Advice to Management

Don't dehumanise your staff - they are your guests too!
Positive motivation is far more effective then fear (works short term - eventually the effects wear off!)
Provide more incentives if you want your staff to put more effort into selling - most people won't waste their time putting in the extra effort if the only person rewarded is the store manager and others who have targets to meet in order to increase their salary (guess what - not all lower levels of staff are airheads and know this, feels like a slap in the face!)
