    Pros

Friendly staff , Team effort, personal time and vacation time good. Holiday pay and sick pay ,gift certificate for birthday and Christmas

    Cons

All about bottom line. Paradies Corporate management disconnected from daily concerns and issues of locations. Lost it's family focus since being sold (twice).

    Advice to Management

Lost the family culture. Has become like every other cookie cutter retailer with the same cookie cutter management style. Good luck with that !

    I worked at Lagardère full-time

    Pros

During my tenure with Lagardere's sports division I got the opportunity to work with numerous exciting projects covering large parts of the sports industry. In its efforts to gain ground in the sports business the company empowered us the employees with the opportunity (and responsibility) to go for it, to try out new ways and to build our own success.

    Cons

The flip side of the pros described above was that the company tended to look to - in a hope of increasing earnings faster - almost always be in a phase of reorganization and restructuring of its assets, aims and set-up. This of course sometimes made it difficult for an employee to focus on or accomplish long term strengths and success of projects, partnerships etc.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to continue to empower employees to take a large part in the direction of the business and not to be afraid of exploring new grounds. But also try to stay closer to the path for longer times and make sure to better your communication regarding upcoming changes to the organization.

    Pros

    Great atmosphere and people
Was given hands-on duties that made a difference
Enjoyed the faced-paced work environment in Paris

    Advice to Management

State clearly what is expected of you, and stay in more direct communication with your employees. Otherwise, no complaints! Thanks for a great internship!
