I worked at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club part-time

    Pros

Decent pay, friendly people, good benefits. They feed you every day which is pretty nice. Everyone pretty much likes their job there.

    Cons

President is very conceded. Everyone will literally bend over backwards for him. Hes very picky and is pretty condescending towards the staff. Two faced you could say.

I have been working at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lake Nona Country Club has wonderful members and a staff who drives to give these members and guests an unforgettable personal experience. The Nona Crew Kids Club is a fun, fast environment for the children and the employees.

    Cons

Many people only know their coworkers within their own department. Most employees are also only trained within their department and therefore can be unable to assist members and guests when issues outside of their department arise.

    Advice to Management

Love your Employees. Learn to train and equip them with the tools possible to succeed in their industry. Encourage building of relationships between departments.

I worked at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club (More than a year)

    Pros

-Networking possibilities are endless, play a lot of golf, perks of working at a world renowned facility where you don't get treated like crap. Started doing more team building exercises and events, a few times a year. It helps build morale, and better know who some of the people are that you are working with.

    Cons

Some workdays are long, and some of the staff is really good and caring, while some other people don't give a $%#^. Some miscommunication between management.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job at keeping everyone on the same page, nut other then that my time there was excellent, and filled with great memories, and gained experiences.

    Pros

Great job while in college. The money is decent. When the club is busier in the winter season pay is better, tips are split evenly amongst employees and how many hours you work.
Beautiful golf course and able to make build relationships and foster great connections with global members.

    Cons

    Management is kind of sloppy.

    Advice to Management

Be a bit more professional behind the scenes.
