I have been working at Lakeland Bancorp part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good hours, opportunities for advancement, and yearly raises. All employees are friendly and easy to work with. Closed holidays and on Sundays.

    Cons

It gets boring when there are no customers, if you are working in a branch. There is a lot of training. Procedures and policies are always being updated and everytime that happens there is a new training class for it.

    Advice to Management

    None.

I worked at Lakeland Bancorp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very family oriented, some coworkers were nice if they liked you, close to home, community oriented, nice connecting with return customers

    Cons

LOW LOW PAY. I worked there for 2 years and had not one pay raise, while people in the department were making nearly double. They keep piling more work on with no training. Some managers have no idea how to lead.

    Advice to Management

Don't care so much about sales and keeping costs low. If you pay employees more they'll work harder. Also, get supervisors who actually earned the job and aren't just put in the position.

I worked at Lakeland Bancorp full-time

    Pros

Fun group of people which i liked, fun contest and employee events. I actually had a good time working here

    Cons

Pay is not great and your are pushed to sell, sell, sell and the goals are a bit annoying.

    Advice to Management

Make it less salesy and more customer service oriented. I would also suggest to increase the salaries in order to keep good employees

I worked at Lakeland Bancorp part-time

    Pros

If you're a college student they are often understanding of changing days/hours for new semesters.

    Cons

Training is terrible, they are always changing their systems so you always have to learn something new and there are always an exception to the rules. It is a very hostile environment, everyone is out to get you and step on you to get ahead. Anything you reveal about your personal life will be used against you. If you don't make your sales, you will be harassed about it constantly. Don't except to have off the alternating Saturday your promised, everything is based upon how long you've worked there. Part timers get the worst hours, closing everyday and working every Saturday.
