I have been working at Lakeland Regional Health (FL) full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Co worker's are great, free healthcare only if you use there facilities.

    Cons

Leadership is manipulative, ethics are extremely low and shoddy.

    Advice to Management

Change Leadership now! Don't wait for the CEO to leave a year from now. You don't care about your patients and you certainly have proved you don't care about your employees. All a money grab. Losing patients and employees at an alarming rate. If you're looking to work here, please look at the enormous rate of turnover first! They are bleeding money. And can't even pay the city which own their property.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Lakeland Regional Health (FL)

    Pros

Good food in the cafeteria. Flexible earned time off depending on your manager's flexibility. Competitive pay. Level 2 trauma center with great community respect and recognition.

    Cons

Department politics. Supervisors and managers "in it" for their own advancement and praise while failing to deliver the same to hard working employees. Ridiculous parking rules and security staff happy to place a boot on your car and charge you up $25.

    Advice to Management

Senior management with the exception of the CEO provide adequate leadership. It is middle management that needs improvement, reflecting on senior management's inability to recognize this fact.
