I have been working at Lamar Advertising full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Benefits, some good people to work with most of the time

    Cons

Doesn't pay very well. Everyone gets the same raise even if you sit on your butt or work you tail off. No incentive to go above and beyond or take on more responsibility.

    Advice to Management

Reward people for strong work ethic and hard work. Like to hold employees back for what they want them to do. Pay your people for the qualifications they get. Train people to get to the next level of their career.

    Pros

flexable hours, good product, some good employees to work with.

    Cons

low commission percentage little to no appreciation shown always wanting more, never good enough.

    Advice to Management

show more appreciation, pay more attention to the visual ability of the static inventory. Not enough money put toward cutting, maintaining tree issues, and being proactive to keep the product with a great visual image. More concerned with the digital inventory.

    Pros

A company based on Autonomy, fun work environment, ethical core values, and a great work-life balance. A Financially sound organization.

    Cons

They could use more individual support and future planning. They tend to be a bit disconnected from corporate to individual office life and contributions.

    Advice to Management

Great initiates but please work on implementation and distribution

I worked at Lamar Advertising full-time

    Pros

Decent pay. They'll get you certifications. They have company parties at good restaurants. They supply the expensive things you need.

    Cons

Work at 3am. The foreman is a great worker but a horrible leader. You'll never get any advice from him, but he'll sure throw you under the bus if you make a mistake.

    Advice to Management

When it comes time for a new Operations Manager, find someone other than your foreman to take his place.
