I worked at Land Transport Authority full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Family oriented and friendly place to work in, relatively laid back compared to other organisations. Nothing else but 20 word minimum.

    Cons

In general very hierarchical though it still depends on your management. Need to bow down to management and swallow your pride. A lot of bootlicking and subpar standards that get away with that, and a management that entertains bootlicking. Meaningless red tape and a non-collaborative culture with a lot of taiji

    Advice to Management

It's good to stay this way so we'll know what's good from bad.

I worked at Land Transport Authority full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and work life balance. Employees are very diverse. Even though employees are signed by contracts, if you are performing well, it won't be a problem at all

Too much politics if you want to advance further in your career. Engineering jobs mainly require interpersonal skills rather than technical skills.

    Advice to Management

Be aware of the politics in the company. Develop a training plan for engineers who would like to advance in terms of technical knowledge
