On boarding takes too long. Once hired you have to wait at least a month and they won’t pay you unless your salary is more than $200. There aren’t many classes when you join or for several months. Even though you open up your availability, they schedule very few slots. If students cancel you don’t get paid even if it’s just before the class starts. If you cancel within 7 days you are charged $25. In April despite the demand for online learning growing, Landi informed all teachers that due to “hard times” they cut the pay by 40% for classes with 1 student. About 70% of my classes were like this. So the pay was $9 for an hour! Some days I only made $5! The tech support is inefficient and they don’t help at all during emergencies, just say “write it in the comments”. There are much better companies to work for that can give you earning potential and have competent staff. Vacation is unpaid. Even if the company closes for 2 weeks!
