    Pros

Hands on jobs, you really get your hands dirty Young team and fantastic environment - you get to be friends of your colleagues Depending on managers there is a lot of autonomy and you get to discover a lot of tricks by yourself which is extremely exciting If you are ambitious and autonomous, it's a great place to be

    Cons

Sometimes the relaxed environment gets counterproductive and the boundaries of a workplace are blurred The team is too young and unexperienced - a little more knowledge is needed Top management have very little prior experience in the industry so the market fit is not there yet People tend to mix motivation with emotion so it gets euphoric in good moments and dramatic in bad moments One of the founders is a... terrible communicator so a lot of things come out totally wrong which might get offensive If they want to attract talented people they really have to raise salary levels

    Advice to Management

Hire less, hire better and raise salaries Get someone with industry knowledge in your top management When things go wrong don't blame people in the middle of stressful situations and assume you also make mistakes

    Neutral Outlook

    I have been working at Landing.jobs part-time

    Pros

    > Pro-active and friendly team, always ready to push forward, help their colleagues out and make sure everyone's having a good work environment; > The product itself is great and it's growing fast, with lots of potential; > Because it's still growing, lots of challenges and opportunities to learn will pop-up along the way, becoming a worthwhile experience to tackle on them;

    Cons

    > It can be overwhelming at times to manage and work towards the set goals, although that depends greatly on the employee's motivation and adaptability to keep up.

    Advice to Management

    > Prioritize on agilising and optimizing the team's workflow and systems used. > Keep focusing on the company's values and goals and engage the team with them!

I worked at Landing.jobs full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Good team environment, multicultural and with interesting people collaborating - Location in the city center - Big office in a charming building - Interesting product with growth potential - Use of agile methodologies and productivity tools like Trello

    Cons

    - Office cold in winter, sauna hot in summer. Could also use some decor. - Too many juniors, very few seniors (±4 seniors for 20 juniors) - Due to the lack of experience of the team, people often don't seem to know where they're heading, so it's very much a trial and error process - Salaries are generally lower than market average

    Advice to Management

Get more intermediates/seniors on the team! It might be more expensive initially, but both the product and the team can gain from it.

    I worked at Landing.jobs part-time

    Pros

    - Great, ambitious and hard working team. Despite only joining Landing.jobs for a short while (only did an internship + part-time as I'm still finishing my studies) I still got to attend a lot of Team events and get to know everyone on the team, I felt as being part of Landing.jobs. - Due to being a startup there are always opportunities to showcase your skills and take on new challenges. - Good Product. - Office... is in a very central area of Lisbon, you can access it by public transportation very easily.

    Cons

    - Due to being a startup, each day you are working to define your product and value, so identity is constantly changing and sometimes it requires you to do some kind of work that you have never done before which can push you out of your comfort zone (saying this is a con or pro is a matter of personal opinion). - Work office can be noisy due to the close proximity to an Hospital.

    Advice to Management

Keep striving to achieve the product's full potential. Keep the team in the loop of company goals in terms of vision and long-term goals. Each individual is responsible for the success of the company, the better they can understand the vision and the full scale of it the better they can work daily in order to meet this goal. Be available.

I worked at Landing.jobs full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - the team, especially your peers, will make your journey worthwhile - the tools used are good and the company is more or less organized in terms of the information - learning curve is good, plently to do and learn

    Cons

    - workload. you'll be asked a lot without much in return - payments are problematic. some times feels like it's quantic physics they are trying to understand - no conditions in the office. bad internet connection, no heating or ac - bullying. people will look down at you when you leave on time, even if you get to the office much earlier than every one else - no guidance or someone to look over your work. you can... easily feel alone or that no one knows where or how we are going, as everyone is so junior - disrespectful environment from the management

I worked at Landing.jobs full-time for less than a year

    Pros

An amazingly hard-working, talented and young team. Opportunities to advance and take on more projects as everyone is so junior. Good product.

    Cons

Low salaries never paid on time and commissions for the operations team often not paid at all. Unresponive HR which is quite ironic for a recruitment agency. One of the founders is a bully with few social skills, the other is not assertive enough to compensate for it. Lack of ethics from the majority of the leaders and unkept promises is a daily happening and you get the feeling that they are taking advantage of... their junior staff to the point where it feels like exploitation.

    Advice to Management

I think at this point the only thing that can help is accepting that most of the leaders there simply have to be replaced by more ethical individuals.

I worked at Landing.jobs full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Great young and ambitious team. The whole brand is determined solely by the young talent. - If it´s one of your first jobs, you will jump into the deep water, as there is lack of senior experienced employees and leadership.

    Cons

    - No salary is paid on-time/fully as agreed. - The co-founders are horrible bosses; The older founder is an abusive person that use his power to make the team feel like they are worthless in order to make them work hard. The younger founder is a self-centric person who cares more about himself than the people or the brand. - Horrible conditions, no contract - you work full time on a freelance invoices... without any benefits, and without protection by law - People get fired all the time. - They treat the employees very poorly and sabotage every good initiative by the team. If you do great work, they take the credit. If they do something wrong, you are the one to blame. - They hire interns without paying a dime, with a promise to hire them after six months. and then fire them right before the end of the internship. - The company is always losing money; sometimes, there is no budget even for toilet paper and heating. The employees are the first to get impacted. - No long term strategy whatsoever. Just self-promotion of the founders through the brand.
