I worked at Landis Supermarket part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They allowed a lot of leeway as far as taking time off and scheduling hours around your availability. Overall the people are very nice and provide a positive working environment.

    Cons

Lower pay than the grocery store standard. Very hard to get full-time or benefits. If you work hard, they will take advantage of that and force you into working the less appealing jobs or working less appealing hours.

    Advice to Management

Understanding that it is tough to compete with the bigger grocery store chains, employees should be compensated better either with pay increases or some form of benefits.

    Pros

They have just the marshmallows from lucky charms. What more could you ask for?!? Also I love the little stations they have going on.

    Cons

None that I can think of. It's a little bit depressing at night when I would go in but other than that I love it!!

I worked at Landis Supermarket part-time

    Pros

Laid back atmosphere, all of the employees are all friends and it was an enjoyable experience working there.

    Cons

Low pay, a lot of the customers could be really rude but that is to be expected.

    Advice to Management

There could be more rules enforced, it was a little to laid back and very unprofessional at times.
