I have been working at Landmark Properties full-time

    Pros

Very nice and well trained coworkers, team bonding activities, schedule, leasing bonuses

    Cons

Pay is extremely low if your not in a managerial position you will not make enough to even pay your bills even if you work full time, bonuses are never done in time which means having to wait months for what you've worked for

I worked at Landmark Properties part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The ability to build relationships with all of the residents was my biggest pro of the job. Building relationships with residents made them feel comfortable to talk to you about anything, which opened up many doors on how to improve their overall experience in anyway possible. The rent discount was another pro I would mention.

    Cons

Upper management was very poor in handling issues. We had numerous issues, both in regards to ethics as well as professionalism in the work place and our HR department as well as upper management staff ignored numerous employees tips as well as documentation regarding the matter. It would not be strange for our "property manager" to go missing for hours at a time. Often times without an excuse. Our office would be closed for hours at a time during peek business hours, strictly because he was the only one in the office and would leave. It was stated in our employment contract that we are to be paid out bonuses monthly, based on our individual leasing efforts, and we went 13 months without getting paid a bonus. This was another issue that was brought to upper management's attention, and was not resolved for roughly 5 months.

    Advice to Management

Observe your employees performances with increased diligence, do not give warning in regards to your site visits, and address employees concerns with attention to detail.

    Pros

They offer a nice commission for each lease sold, and the company tries to emphasize the importance of teamwork and a work/home life balance.

    Cons

They emphasize things and do not follow through with them, training is a long video that management does not take seriously, and new staff are left without a set list of what to do or how to do it. Commission systems are not set up properly where employees can see that they are receiving compensation for their hard work.

    Advice to Management

Make training better, managers must be willing and able to train staff

I worked at Landmark Properties part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Schedule was the same every week, worked well with my college schedule, and the job was not that hard. I got good sales experience and got to work with some good people and residents

    Cons

Some residents can be challenging to work with. The pay is also really low, but many times you can get a discount to live at the property so that is how they try to compensate for low wages
