    I have been working at Landry's part-time

    Pros

High staff turnover means shifts are always available

    Cons

Corporate focus is profits not customer satisfaction nor employee benefits
Mortons was a good company until it joined the Landry's organization

    Advice to Management

Implement the old Morton's mission statement and maybe the downward spiral can be mitigated

    I worked at Landry's full-time

    Pros

I was promoted from server to bartender to supervisor in a very short amount of time. I learned a great deal about restaurant management from this place, it is also a help to have your division's Vice President in the back office.

    Cons

It is a throw-under the bus type of culture. When talking to upper management it is very important to use their language. Management will often ask you to work off of the clock if you are important to them (bonuses for meeting over time).

    Advice to Management

Learn to listen to words outside of language. Keep up with the rewards for hard work, but if you are in corporate reading this please keep in mind that there are people that work very hard that you may not see in your day to day.

    I have been working at Landry's part-time

    Pros

Great money, great Disney perks (free admission and tickets), great coworkers

    Cons

Mangers can be rude and negative due to their busy and hectic lives, long hours on your feet (10 to 13 hours), and expect to work holidays / weekends

    Advice to Management

Some were very nice, but others were just not meant to manage people when they can't manage their own feelings.

Employees there are great to work with. Benefits are wonderful. Restaurant discounts are worth it. CIO Lori Kittle is awesome.
