    I have been working at Landry's part-time

    Pros

They have a huge umbrella of restaurants so if you want to transfer its easily done.

    Cons

They are always changing systems of how we do our jobs. They say its to make things more efficient but if you are always adapting to change you can never be totally efficient at your job. Forcing people to be trainers when they don't want to be. They also don't trust there employees. Spend a lot of time waiting for managers to approve transactions on our terminals.

    Advice to Management

Stop changing the way we do things and let servers become very efficient at what they do. Giving people more trust will create more loyal employees. If we didn't need manager approval on every transaction we could waste less time and just give really good service instead

I have been working at Landry's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I really like the people I work with and work is super easy. I make the same as a full time hourly wage employee just working part time and doing less work. You can get whatever days you need off by asking another server to cover for you, and the managers are OK with it as long as the shift is covered. Very generous employee discount program. You're in charge of the money you make, the more you work, the more possibility you have to make money. Ranking ensures servers don't get tables they can't handle. Open wait system is awesome.

    Cons

Management could be way better. The Reward program needs to be done away with or redone completely, as the members tend to feel entitled to whatever they can try to get free and neglect their servers regardless of how great a job they do. The company needs to add more security measures to the restaurants.

    Advice to Management

Rethink your reward program or get rid of it. Most employees don't like it, at all.
