I have been working at Landsafe as a contractor

    Pros

Lots of orders in metro area, as the market changes the total workload fluctuates.

    Cons

Change in forms decreased productivity and having to pay the second company for orders decreased income.

    Pros

Been a CoreLogic company since October. Seems like a great place to work so far. CoreLogic upper management seems a lot stronger than Landsafe.

    Cons

    No communication from upper Management.

    Advice to Management

Talk to us. Feels like we are in the canoe without a paddle

I have been working at Landsafe full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, work from home, decent coworkers and mid-level managers

    Cons

Couldn't seem to figure out what role they wanted in the market and ended up laying off most of the department. Has ended up sending a lot of jobs to India. Do I really want to do be a consumer supporting a company who doesn't care about US workforce? Nope.

    Advice to Management

Don't bite off more than you can chew

I worked at Landsafe full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People were nice and management were very friendly.

    Cons

Seems like this company will not last long lay offs and the current employees have to pick up the slack due to Landsafe not wanting to hire new people to help with the work load.

    Advice to Management

Please hire some more people the current employees there are working hard with little help.

I worked at Landsafe full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits, able to work from home.

Long hours, low pay, always about the bottom line.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what they are worth,

I worked at Landsafe full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I worked with some amazing people there and I learned a lot about real estate valuation from the institutional side.

    Cons

Ultimately, poor leadership led to LandSafe having a product that wasn't worth what it cost to make. Too much management and poor oversight/training caused this. Growth in technology in this market created many products that could provide similar services at a much lower price and the company was not able to adapt.

    Advice to Management

    It's too late now.

I worked at Landsafe full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The pay and team environment were the only reasons I stayed as long as I did. The benefits offered to employees were also adequate for our share of the expenses.

    Cons

No room for advancement. Management was constantly letting you know what you needed to do to move up, but when you consistently demonstrated those traits, there was never any positions opened up. Requests to transfer out were routinely denied for no reason.

I worked at Landsafe as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

The best reason to work at Landsafe was experience.

    Cons

The down side to working at Landsafe was full time/part-time availbility.

    Advice to Management

Working in teams is great advice.

I worked at Landsafe as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Casual Environment. Team Leads are knowledgeable and helpful. Team culture where people do pitch in to help one another. Ability for associate to take on the degree of responsibility with which they are comfortable.

    Cons

Rules are many and often confusing and petty. Company employs hundreds but does not seem to keep a database of employees and skills. Does not hire from within.

    Advice to Management

Look employee skills in different departments before you look outside to hire.
