I have been working at Language Services Associates full-time

    Pros

LSA is a wonderful company filled with people with a strong desire to help each other and our clients. I enjoy working in the call center and feel that we all do our best to get the job done. I can honestly say, I enjoy coming to work each day. It's a great work environment, I enjoy the work that I do, and the people that I work with. We have several “fun days” every month where we have small celebrations and theme days...

I have been working at Language Services Associates full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Flexible hours since it is a 24/7 call Center. Weekends and holidays off (only if you're full time). Free coffee, but that's really about it.

      Cons

This is not the job to have if you are trying to support a family and I am learning that the hard way. They start you off at 11.00 an hour with no raise in sight. It is a 24/7 call center so your schedule can become very flexible. Management is rarely there to help whenever you need it, and when you do need the help they expect you to stand at your desk and scream from across...

      Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and raise the pay rate. Most of your 11 to 12 dollar an hr employees are barely making ends meet and have another job just to get by.

I worked at Language Services Associates full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Since Language Services Associates is a 24/7 call center, they are very flexible with hours. I do think that this position was great for students. But that is about it.

      Cons

Where to start... Low pay. You used to get a dollar raise after your 90 days but they got rid of that since they switched to a once call at a time system, which made sense but the system itself if awful and the coordinators constantly got yelled at by clients for the system error. Management would come up with ideas and events but then never follow through. This company is the worst with consistency. One rule would apply...

      Advice to Management

Listen to your coordinators. They are frustrated and disappointed that you don't stick up for them if the situation calls for it. If you listen to your employees, maybe you'll be able to keep them longer.

I have been working at Language Services Associates

      Pros

One of the most diverse environments I've worked in. Everyone LSA hires tends to be of the same open, friendly, and globally diverse mindset, which makes for a really fun office and easily built relationships with coworkers. The hours are fair and flexible, and management is always -really- understanding and accommodating to staff needs. The pay is relative to the work expected of you, and most of the opportunities,...

This is a small office where just about everyone knows everyone else. Secrets are not easily kept and word gets around fast.
