    Advice to Management

Be a bit more flexible with interpreter protocols. Senior management could acknowledge work from home employees at least in meetings or trainings.

It pays good and provides variety of jobs for linguists who are interested to work from home. Flexible hours are available for those who like part-time jobs.

No pay rise available even after long time work. Interpreters feel detached from management and will be rarely contacted when something goes wrong.

    Advice to Management

Better if interpreters are better coordinated through more comprehensive relations with the interpreter. regular evaluation of the employees and workers and giving them feedback will show significant improvement.

I worked at LanguageLine Solutions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people working here are extremely nice and awesome, are very forgiving and understanding. It pays well depending on the language.

    Cons

You have to buy your own equipment, but it's not too bad. The job itself was pretty stressful for me, because of the constant calls and the nature of some of the calls. Not a job for people with anxiety like me. The people at the company was very understanding of it though!

    Advice to Management

The Tech Support people sound constantly tired...Maybe hire more of them, or pay them more? There's also a very long waiting time for Tech support as well depending on the day.
