    Pros

My supervisors are great listeners and always have choices in helping with solution with any problems that might arise. The school staff are very respectful with each other. Never any conflicts among each other. My job is so much easier to do when the workplace and people are good to work in.

    Cons

No downsides unless you, the employee, make a downside for your workplace.
The hardest things in the LCPS dept is to advance to a better paying job.
The pay is not good. You have to either be married,or otherwise it would be hard to make it on your own,.

I worked at Las Cruces Public Schools Adm full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Opportunities to bring great programs and outcomes to students.

    Cons

Top administrators do not understand programs - squeeze the teachers dry. Want teachers to do more - horrible morale.

    Advice to Management

Find creative ways to stop increasing teaching loads - perhaps get rid ofexpensive football programs and coaches who make many times more than teachers.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Las Cruces Public Schools Adm as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

School Personnel are friendly. Community is peaceful and safe. Students are disciplined and respectful. School is supportive to all its personnel

    Cons

Does not sponsor permanent residency visa. Does not give salary increase. Very high case loads and SLPs don't have assistants. Not enough benefits too for the school personnel.
