I worked at Las Vegas Sands full-time

    Pros

Awesome investment in employees, SANS courses, training, etc. Money is where there mouth is for tools and training. 4-10's after 90 days. Salary with Overtime Eligibility.

    Cons

Office is the most political office I've ever worked with, there are favorites and it shows, and if you're not on the favorites list you should worry about your job. Training program is inconsistent, changing, and a joke, the company is looking for people who have experience already, and berate you for not having mastered every program by a month or two when they won't even let you touch anything for your first month...

    Advice to Management

Stick with promoting from within the company for your SOC. You're asking for beyond entry level, and those with those skills will seek greener pastures, and those just under will struggle and flounder.

I worked at Las Vegas Sands full-time

    Pros

Benefits are good. Free medical, dental, etc.

    Cons

A lot of turnover due to hostile environment. Decent employees ended up leaving. Not a good time to join unless the favoritism stops or certain people leave. They express happiness when you leave. Too much unprofessional people. The more staff level you are, the more they don’t care about your well being...

    Advice to Management

    The turnover numbers don’t lie.
