    Pros

Bar Louie is across the street, food is good but who has time to eat. Location is centralized do commute over bridge is not bad.

    Cons

Recently hired. stuck in this awful dept. run by inexperienced exec.
Should have recognized co. was off when LSI called to set up interview, recruiter sounded unhappy. selling billing with excitement these days must be challenging.
CEO, DAVE PILLSBURY is not honest. Visited HR for a simple question. unapproachable, unprofessional, RUDE or unhappy too? HR, read your dress code policy! Not a club!

    Advice to Management

SHAME ON ALL OF YOU for not saving jobs. would it hurt to offer a temporary pay cut to save some great people?NO ONE is safe under DAVE PILLSBURY. Bring back Bill Horne- heard he's the man everyone respected! Pillsbury is a liar.

    Pros

It used to be a great place....core values were real....employees were treated very well and the perks were amazing.....team building events, Christmas Party and staff recognition

    Cons

Since Bill Horne was replaced by the Doughboy it's gone downhill, the dough is not rising but sinking....bad decisions....shut down programs....let people go who seriously care about the patients. I feel sorry for the patients, ....yup they may get relief from their back & neck pain but the reaper comes calling for their soul when the lackluster appeals department can't collect from their insurance. Appeals has been promised training for almost a year and instead of training they are laid off....well over 100 employees since January.

    Advice to Management

Bring back BILL HORNE someone who really cares about people.....

    Pros

I can no longer think of any except for the hard working souls still hanging on there.

    Cons

Where to begin? You've read the previous reviews. All true.
Clique- y culture - South Tampa Elite Entitled Brats and their inexperienced friends and family are running the show.
    This place is going down
    Unprofessional Human Resources Department.
Impulsive management decisions in their "Lay-off" choices.
Surgeons and clinical staff are over booked and overworked.

    Pros

Good chance to make money while selling your soul to the devil

    Cons

Lies, lies, and more lies. They believe in CHOICE values that apparently are nothing but fluff to get you drinking the koolaid. Before you know it you'll be laid off after getting promoted and hitting your goal. If you don't mind sleeping around or making best friends with management, then you might just stand a chance.

    Advice to Management

    Read the CHOICE values.

I have been working at Laser Spine Institute full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Can be a fun place to work at times, but has taken a serious nose dive since the new management came in. There are a lot of nice people here, but also a fair share of people you will never want to see again. Bill Horne is no longer the CEO, he has been replaced by Dave Pillsbury.

    Cons

LSI used to be a great place to work, but since Dotty left everything fell apart. The recent layoffs and demotions are only part of the problem here. People are quitting or being let go at a startling rate. They are currently trying to reduce salaries by letting go people who have been with the company for a long time and replacing them with new hires. Some managers are great and others are terrible. If you are an attractive young female your future at LSI will be much better, though you can expect some harassment (far more than other places I have worked). Salaries are well below the average rates in the area.

    Advice to Management

Go back to practicing what you preach. Clean out the upper management who don't know what they are doing.

I love this company as an employee. The benefits alone are amazing. The company is based on CHOICE values C-care H-have fun O-one team I-integrity C-commitment E-excellence. They play a big part in the community. I enjoy waking up and going to work.

    Pros

Great place to work! I felt like family while i was employed there. The CEO is truly an amazing wonderful, and caring man! I could not have asked for a better group of people to work for. Health coverage is great, pay is good and vacation time

    Cons

Too much office politics but i am sure that is everywhere. Sometimes it's hard to be noticed that you can do another job as they see you doing everything well in current position.
