    I worked at LaserAway part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - great money - flexible schedule - friendships built with co-workers - great clients - lots of leads provided - commission

    Cons

    - co-workers steal your sales - job presented as director position when it is not - required to make 100 calls a day - company doesn’t care about customer service just sales - no lunch breaks

    Advice to Management

    Hire competent managers and “directors” - implement a good training program. The “training” consists of you traveling to multiple different locations sitting in a room having the manager read you protocols from the computer screen that they told you to read the night before.

    great coworkers easy stress free environment lots of benefits flexible schedule if you need time off

    Cons

    sale staff is very money hungry and some of them are willing to put your medical license at risk for the sake of closing their sale sale staff will also create an uncomfortable and often times hostile environment when they do not get their way, or if a patient wants to refund, or if a patient needs to be rescheduled very unethical when it comes to how they treat patients no room for growth mandatory to work... weekends difficult to get someone to cover your shift

    -friendships with staff -friendships with patients -flexible schedule

    Cons

    -high stress -taken off schedule for not meeting unrealistic goals -directors get all the sales -pushy sales techniques -making people feel like they’re not pretty enough and need more work done

    Try to care for people instead of money at least sometimes.

    I worked at LaserAway full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Staff is family. Everyone looks out for each other (mostly everyone) flexible schedule. Fun environment!

    Cons

    Management is obsessed with sales. They are in the business of doing whatever necessary to get the sale, not caring about the actual customer. If you don't sell you don't get scheduled. And if you are working in the back office the chances of selling are very slim. You do not get to answer the phone until the 4th ring so that the front desk has first shot. There are no ethics when it comes to stealing sales. Very... cut throat commission.

    Advice to Management

    Try paying more attention to the actual clients rather than just whats in their wallets. Take care of your employees, treat them fairly and the workplace will be much more calm and efficient.
