    Cons

Office politics, poor senior leadership, culture has gone downhill over the years

Stay loyal to those who work hard for you and appreciate their talent instead of promoting your friends and allowing them to skate by

I worked at Lash Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

From my personal experience there's not much office politics going on. Colleagues are nice and the ones you don't really click with do their own thing and leave you alone. No need to fear getting let go out of nowhere. Conversion rate to permanent is pretty high.

    Cons

Kind of a thankless job. The work done there is very good as financially struggling people get help with very expensive products. But because the company is not their own and the revenue comes from clients from other companies, we have to bend over backwards to make sure the clients are happy. Not much room for growth except to hope that someone above you leaves so that a position opens up. Most people will be stuck at the lower end positions for years because there's just no room to go up. Pay is on the lower end compared to similar companies.

    Advice to Management

Work distribution needs to be more fair and not mostly shoved to the people who already do the most and/or the people who have been there the longest while the slackers consistently slack and get very little done.

I have been working at Lash Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The most boring job in the world. You will not use your nursing skills--it's all IT issues and documentation. If you need a break to put your mind on hold for awhile, apply here! You will glaze over quickly. Good nurses are leaving by the droves. Tired of watching paint dry.

    Cons

Management is very poor--unfulfilled promises and a lot of going through the motions. Conference calls go as follows " sorry for the scrolling, oops I was talking on mute, sorry I was late but I was just wrapping up another call, can everybody see my screen?" etc...Same old same old. Communication is very poor. Managers will tell a story one day, but change their tune the next day. There are no bonuses. Don't believe their lies.

    Advice to Management

Hire seasoned leaders, not just managers. Provide thorough training. Respect your nurses. Respect is more important than free beverages.

I have been working at Lash Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, great people, decent work-life balance

    Cons

Risk averse to the point of unintended self-sabotage, not responsive to the market, aristocratic, not strategic, reactive versus proactive, old business world culture

    Advice to Management

Embrace the new culture of business. Culture doesn't come from erecting a cool building. It comes from the way management interacts with its employees to encourage an environment of collaboration. Figure out how to adapt to the very real need for technology must faster than you currently are. Get ahead of it even. Reacting to a market with something that will take 5 years to implement does not constitute a strategy for the meantime.

I worked at Lash Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paid time off and benefits . Learned what not to do as a manager based on the horrible skills displayed by their managing team.

    Cons

Everything else. This is by far the worst place I ever worked. Worked for 2 years as a BVS. Consistently produced high quality work and was turned down for remote and other promotions 3 times. They promote friends of current managers that honestly have no business being a manager at all. Grossly incompetent when it comes to effective and real leadership. The job is mundane and you will always be treated like a number. High pressure to complete tasks in a minimal amount of time, they have a high burnout rate. I spent 2 years spinning my wheel there and the best thing I ever did was leave. Anyone with a half way decent work ethic and self esteem can't work here long.

    Advice to Management

Start all over. Don't promote based on numbers. Pay attention to competence and character. Management training should include leadership, the difference between telling people what to do and leading the way to do it. Stop sticking your head in the sand and using people. Maybe spend less time flying your directors all over the country and make them focus on a specific business operation. You lost several great employees due to your incompetence and failure to evolve.

    Advice to Management

Be more proactive in grooming individuals for advancement

The pay is good pay. But the managers don't care about you, neither do supervisors. They just don't care about you and if your not meeting your metrics. They're ready to boot you. No NOTICE

    Cons

    unorganized
    Management doesn't care
Pto and benefits aren't that great

    Advice to Management

Try harder with your associates please. Help them!
