I have been working at Lash Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits, bonuses, pay, vacation/PTO, good medical

    Cons

Inflexible work schedules, high turnover, lack of consistency, poor morale. RNQAs that have the ability to suddenly find fault with you and fail your calls, many stressed out supervisors. Oh and if you think youre going to just move up or move out to a different program-think again if you aren't a 'favorite.' You aren't a Nurse Educator either, but a telemarketer bugging people all day long so they will stay on the medication and make the company money.

I have been working at Lash Group for more than a year

    Pros

Free Ice and Drinks ( Soda, Coffee, Tea, and Water). Seems to be easy to move up since a lot of inexperienced people are in high position. Being knowledgeable is not a factor here. Great Experience to take Elsewhere.

    Cons

Training is a joke, Work environment if you’re contract ( the set up is like a computer class with people on both sides of you) No personal space and when everyone is on the phone it’s a disaster. Senior management never introduced themselves, they say it’s Quality over Quantity but it’s a Call Center it’s all the Numbers! The people who trains you aren’t really knowledgeable and gives out wrong information. Micromanages. Not a stable work environment you could be let go at anytime. HIGH TURNOVER RATE!! Hired 260+ people over half quit within two months even some of their full time employees left. Full time employees seem to walk on eggshells because they don’t know what’s next. Will let you go without warning so have a backup plan. Never quit applying for other opportunities you will most likely need them. Management isn’t knowledgeable. There should definitely be trainings for management. Work is under Fax review which is but they’re reviewed by multiple people with limited experience so it’s hard to know what’s right and wrong.

I worked at Lash Group for less than a year

    Pros

Pay is decent. Parking is good if you get there about 30 min to an hour early.

    Cons

No clue on how to train new employees. Management is rude & wishy-washy. Metrics change like as often as the Texas weather. Very high turnover of employees. Young, Loud, Foul-mouthed employees. Have contract employees cramped up in a room with less space between them than between the driver & passenger seats in a car.

I worked at Lash Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Great benefits and company perks

    Cons

Training is inadequate and the expectations are unreasonable. High turnover. The company tends to take on contracts they can't support. They hire people with no experience, most of management does not know the job and their review process stinks. They are too busy going to meetings to develop their employees for the success they expect and the employee deserves to be effective.

I worked at Lash Group for less than a year

    Pros

-Accrue 13.33 hours of PTO monthly -Healthcare benefits aren't outrageously priced -You get paid while being entertained by the joke that this place is

    Cons

If you have post-high school education, stay the he** away from here unless you're willing to sell your soul for a nickel. Management/HR/Most Co-Workers are some of the most inept people you will ever meet. Management is full of command and control types, that love to give non-answers. IF you go through new hire orientation, know that you will not be told all of the policies to which you are held accountable. Final written warnings are given for infractions to a policy that was never given to an employee, even when they contested. Management and HR's responses were "Well, the policy is being revised so it's not accessible. Site practices are consistent across the entire site." This is but one example of the pathetic management skills that abound within this organization. Corporate HR isn't much better. A manager literally responded to an email about an issue our team was experiencing with the statement "We're hoping it will fix itself." Need I say more? Well, I'm going to anyways in hopes of preventing some poor soul from being caught in their web of lies and smoke and mirrors. In my time here, twenty-two people have been fired or quit within my immediate area on the cube farm. Twenty-two. Clearly, an organizational issue exists that management is apathetic towards. To say that this industry is a high-turnover industry is a defeatist mentality and not becoming of a true leader. A handful quit within their training period, one didn't return after falling asleep at their desk watching training modules their first day. When you're terminated, you're called into the hall while two other managers bomb-rush your desk and violently throw your belongings into a box. The lack of respect for ones personal effects is astounding, and you better believe we all see it. Employee morale couldn't be any lower, and this is largely due to their method of terminating employees. Assistant program managers are the source of a lot of the ineptness that plagues this place. Most of them do not have formal educations, and talk out of both sides of their mouths. To smile at someone when you inform them they are ineligible for a bonus that they earned, due to a technicality you inappropriately subjected them to, is unacceptable. I was told by another manager that my direct manager was concerned about my accent/cadence while on the phone, which is natural to the folks from where I originate. Undoubtedly, this manager had forgotten that I am not from the Pittsburgh area, even though my resume is filled with indicators of "home". It goes to show you how little management knows their employees. Recently during a fire drill, this same manager was curt with a team member of ours as to whether they were actually on our team roster and didn't belong to another team. You can guess how that went, in front of ALL of us. Those of us unfortunate enough to be on the phones catch enough grief from offices, we don't need a management team that is non-supportive. Lately, management has been asking us to submit ideas as to ways they could improve things. Do you think they've followed even the common-sense suggestions? I'm glad I'm not holding my breath. Perhaps what is most laughable is having a manager that has absolutely zero business training, attempt to preach to you about business acumen. Your business acumen is lacking, and it's showing.

    Pros

Decent benefits Nice leadership development program You do come across good people to work with along the way

    Cons

Ridiculous change to attendance and PTO policy Senior leaders do not value their middle managers or support them with the client Senior leaders are reactive and not proactive-make poor on the fly decision just putting a band aid on repeat issues over and over never addressing the root issue Client pleasing seems to be more important than the employees or middle managers Overworked and stressed Seasonals that lack respect and integrity seems to be the norm, resulting in poor customer satisfaction and repeated SLA issues. Morale is at an all time low with employees and leadership alike. High turnover, but the same poor quality seasonal keeps being brought in resulting in the same performance, integrity, and attendance issues. Role has now turned into professional babysitting of adults Title with no power-employees lack respect for middle and upper management

I have been working at Lash Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-Their benefits are pretty good. They have tuition reimbursement. 3 weeks of PTO. Good health insurance. -There is a tremendously high turnover at this company because very few people enjoy their work. One benefit is that if you are desperate, you'll be sure to get a job here. They're always hiring.

    Cons

-There are honestly too many to count. The management is full of people who do not have much education and therefore do not have any sense of how to manage groups or the work ethic it takes. The company has a lot of potential but most skilled and educated people do not stay long because the company does not value their work. -People are mostly promoted based on their tenure with the company rather than their work history. There is very little advancement. You either have to be working there for 10 years or you have to resort to threatening to leave in order to get a promotion. -Another con is the pay. The entry level positions pay $35k. That can't even get you an apartment in Rockville. Similar companies are paying their employees $50k. That will tell you a lot about how this company operates. -Employee moral is very low. People quit very frequently and there is a very high turnover. Upper management does't care. Why should they? As long as the client is still paying for their services they don't care.
