I worked at Latam Airlines Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Friendly work environment open.
Company structure provides great learning opportunities and space for professional growth within the company.
Healthy challenging environment to develop personally, and professionally.
Opportunity to learn and get to know more Latin America as a destination and economic current reality.

    Cons

Sensitivity to world economic changes, fuel prices and among other external factors make this a tough challenging industry.
Continuous turn around at Head Quarters makes difficult to maintain project continuity and requires a learning process that can slow ongoing strategies.
Excessive dependence on analytics based on the past numbers leads to analysis for paralysis.
HQ continuously tries to implement actions and programs without considering the reality of external markets that don't have domestic operations.

    Advice to Management

The company needs to implement a global CRM to document and share knowledge to retain clients, document best practices and learn from prior mistakes.
The company needs to allow local offices that don't have domestic operations more freedom to customize marketing and sales initiatives to adapt to each country's needs.

I worked at Latam Airlines Group full-time

    Pros

Airline tickets discounts, very good health insurance.

    Cons

Lan cargo: Everything else. It seems to me like no one single person wants to be there. You we'll notice Management is reserved for certain nationalities. They've been firing people since they bought TAM but keep bringing people from other countries. They mentioned that employees must not allow a personal relationship with a colleague to influence their conduct at work, well...
