I have been working at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra full-time

    Pros

The firm has really turned around for the better in the last year. They have increased some of the benefits and have created a better environment. The new firm partner is really working had with our operations manager to get the firm turned around and are really listening to all of us.

    Cons

Work load is still to much

    Advice to Management

The best thing done in a while was bringing back the operations manager and bringing on the new partner. Let them continue to build the firm!

      Pros

There really were no pros for this company

      Cons

The company was definitely micromanaged and a lot of drama in each department

I have been working at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Free coffee, occasional food trucks and a few nice people.

      Cons

Difficult workload to balance among a team of several where one or two people do all of the work and the rest do nothing but management coddles them nonetheless. A handful of people who leave work with little notice, leaving everyone else to shoulder the burden. However, even when they were there, they only worked when they felt like putting in the effort. Overburdened managers with no one to assist and no one to...

      Advice to Management

Most of you are gone now, but to those of you who remained or came to replace prior management: don't make the same mistakes of the past. Learn from them. The prior culture of this office was the epitome of everything that makes American corporate/office culture toxic. When people (management and non-management) abruptly walk off their jobs, there's probably an issue. When people are on the verge of tears, flipping...

I worked at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra full-time

      Pros

      Can wear PJ's to work

      Cons

Everything, the hours required are more than they tell you during the interview or when extending an offer. The training is awful and not helpful. The programs used are outdated. They hire too many people at once then let them go just as quick. Everyday I was afraid I was going to be fired, and in the end I was laid off because they hired too many attorneys in one month, all of us were laid off at the same time during...

I have been working at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

I am so done with this place............. The title says it all. PEOPLE are your best assets along with COMMUNICATION, of which this company does not seem to care about anymore. I give us another 6 months before the ship sinks, so let's see who jumps ship first.

      Cons

Upper management likes to micro-manage and that doesn't promote a happy work environment. The firm is barely keeping it's head above water as the man says "We are HOPING to sometime turn a profit" Don't hold your breath.

      Advice to Management

Be nicer and communicate with your employees instead of throwing work at us and saying Here, figure it out...............

I have been working at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra full-time

        Pros

Flexible time schedule, understanding supervisors, and an environment that encourages you to improve. In the more than five years that I have worked in this company I have witnessed the ups and downs, the rises and the falls. In the end, the company has shown me that they do care and that it is not personal. My co-workers are beyond friendly and supportive. We work as a team. I believe this place will be great because...

        Cons

Huge case load and not enough time in the day.

        Advice to Management

A little overtime and more training courses on court rules and civil procedures because even the most experienced of paralegals can benefit and even learn something that they didn't learn from previous education/training.

I have been working at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra

        Pros

I worked at this firm when there were upward of 450 employees and now there are about 30 and the atmosphere has completely changed. Everyone works together for a common goal and there's no hidden agenda (when there were 450 there were cliques and your "best friend" would back stab you). This company used to just focus on when a mistake was made and who is at fault. Now, if a mistake is made they focus on fixing it and...

        Cons

Upper management likes to micro-manage and that doesn't promote a happy work environment. Large case-load and loads of deadlines, but like I said that's a pro and con.

        Advice to Management

Trust in your employees, micro-managing just stresses everyone out.

        Pros

If you would've asked me 6 years ago, I would've said " Apply" you would love it

        Cons

Out of 450 employees, there are 28 or so of us left. We are under paid and over worked. Management is a joke also. The main attorney is heartless ( the one who wrote the below comment about this company) and our supervisor is worthless( she wrote the next review). Another receive review is from another co-worker that's been here for 10 plus years and gets paid 20+ dollars to mess up everyone's else's files. We get into...

I worked at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra full-time for more than 5 years

        Pros

I was with the company for several years and it was a fantastic growing experience. Not only did I learn the trades of the business, the senior management worked with me to hone skill sets which allowed me to move internally within the firm. Like all companies, there are ups and downs, but the focus on the staff and clients is always present. The senior management team, including the owner take vested interests in the...

Keep up the good work and I encourage you to continue to listen to your employees and fostering the encouraging and productive environment.

I have been working at Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra

        Pros

I've worked at the firm for almost 5 years now and I can tell you that most of the reviews on here seem to be from disgruntled foreclosure employees. Every job obviously has its ups and downs, but I have never had any serious issues with the firm. Since Dan merged the foreclosure side of things with another firm, the work environment has been great. I foresee a positive future for the firm in general.

        Cons

Sometimes you have to deal with Defendants that aren't extremely happy that you are trying to collect a debt from them. However, I guess that is typical of the collection industry in general.
