    Lots of responsibility - high performers do more than their job description
    Culture of hustle - do what you think makes sense and run with it
    Flat org - Max made sure to speak with the execution person running projects

    Cons

    Lacking career development - management is young and focused on business
    Transition to Alibaba management - Alibaba is king, less creativity now
    Undeveloped pay structure - big variances within levels, perceived inequality

    Pros

    Only because it is a Alibaba subsidiary company!

    Cons

    Never concerning of People but called People team. The HR in Singapore office only concern the senior management, doesn’t listen to or care of the general staffs opinions, or just ignore you.

    Advice to Management

    Restructure of HR team-2 HR offices/ practice in headquarter is too messy ! Why not only HQ to manage and provide the staffs with the same things ?!

    workplace culture is good,
    free luch, free dinner, free snack, free purified drinking water, overtime with pay, double pay holidays, friendly environment

    Pros

    Very young and active working environment. Every one is young, friendly and energetic. There is no hierarchy in the company. Warm and welcome company.

    Cons

    The work force is kind of too young, lack of deep experience, turn over is high, lots of people move out in short period of time.

    Adding more structure and experience into the organization, give more opportunity for career growth and development.

    I have been working at Lazada full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Management is aware of the abysmal Glasdoor ratings: the new CEO himself asked the whole company in a town hall to come leave positive reviews. We may overtake FoxConn anytime soon.

    Cons

    Management solution for bad Glasdoor reviews is to blame disgruntled employees for them and ask the happy campers to come here and praise the new administration. Take all positive comments from Aug 27 onwards with a pinch of salt.

    Advice to Management

    Acknowledge (and clean) the existing leadership problems in HR, countries and CEO. Listen to the experienced employees. Define a solid strategy, stop favouritism, be self-reflecting and maybe after that the ratings will improve organically.
