    Cons

Rasies and growth is slow their isn't any movement for technicians and the industry focuses on the salesmen

    Advice to Management

Trickle down energy and maybe even earnings to the service and support groups lazy days used to be the best company to work for

I have been working at Lazy Days RV Center full-time

    Pros

There are no pros to working here

    Cons

They don't treat you with respect, they pay very little, they leave the techs with no jobs to do but tell the customers we are booked out, they drop the ball on customer service and you as an employee have to feel the wrath of the customers

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat your employees with respect, pay a little more, and appreciate the small things your employees do.

I worked at Lazy Days RV Center full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They have a school and pay like 14 an hour and they teach a lot

    Cons

The school is pro rated over 2 years so if you leave or quit you owe them 6600 dollars via contract

    Advice to Management

Advise people of this contract before they waste time trying to work here.

I worked at Lazy Days RV Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are many good people working there and many are like family. It's the only reason I stayed there so long.

    Cons

High turnover in all departments, including HR. Makes you wonder how effective the company can be if HR can't even get it right. Not sure if the leadership in that department has a clue.
Pay plans company wide are being changed, making it hard to make a living. The benefits are almost nonexistent, no sick time for hourly employees and minimal 5 days for salaried. Stingy vacation policy. High deductible on health insurance.

    Advice to Management

    Look at your leaders.

I have been working at Lazy Days RV Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There ARE some nice people there, but that's about the only positive comment I can make.

    Cons

Hostile environment. IT management personnel are just plain nasty back-stabbers. GM steals from the company, sold the place out so the company would adopt his friend's software, which sucks, and then gets promoted. VP HR is a blatant liar. Top management is in it for the big bucks to be made by taking the place public and they don't care who they destroy in the process. Even the ethics hotline is a joke. People make calls and nothing ever happens. Compensation sucks. Benefits suck. Systems are so old the vendors no longer support them.

    Advice to Management

You express all these great values, but you don't live up to them. You are a farce. You are terrible leaders.

I have been working at Lazy Days RV Center full-time

    Pros

The other workers and laborers were the only thing that make working here worth it.

    Cons

Pay is very low. Raises are non existent and the benefits are a joke. Managers are extremely unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

Treat your people like valuable members of the team and pay them a decent wage.

I worked at Lazy Days RV Center full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Customer training. Opportunities to become more than what you are. Even though I got let go for BS reasons, I did love working there. In 6 years I had the privilege to work with some great people.

    Cons

Management is lacking. In 6 years the whole business when from being all about the customers, to being all about the company.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees, and let them take care of the customers.

I worked at Lazy Days RV Center (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome people to work for. It's like one big happy family. Customers are great as well. You meet people from all around the world

    Cons

The new ceo is making too many changes in such a short time and chasing alot of employees away. Other then that a great place to work

    Advice to Management

My advise is to advise the new ceo not to change everything if it isnt broken. Without happy employees you don't have a great foundation.
