    I worked at Le Meridien full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    I worked as a Valet/Shuttle Driver/Bellman/ Guest service coordinator for two years, money was good from tips, but only when customers were good. Co-workers all around were pretty cool.

    Cons

    A new management team of two main people took over the hotel in 2011, they turned the place into a real bummer... Clientele went way down hill, downsized our staff, micro-managed us from an impossible viewpoint. The job you work that was once awesome becomes terrible when you have inexperienced, amatuer management.

    Advice to Management

    Leave, your losing the battle already, and your just hurting honest hard-workers lives in the process. One day you too will be gone and forgotten, please take your decisions more seriously and less biased based on your favorites.

    Pros

    It is very known brand of marriott,which is the world's largest hospitality industry in the world.

    Cons

    Till now I didn't find any consequences here.

    Advice to Management

    Always keep the staff to the development of the organization.

    I worked at Le Meridien full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - Very good bonus, added during season time and related to hotel's monthly income. - A lot company's benefit such as interesting hotel rates in the world (more than 1500 resorts globally), pension plan, company insurance for relatives, etc.

    Cons

    - Almost no possibility to grow your career up in that hotel (none wnats to quit his position because very well paid in relation of others hotel in town). - Very big disbalanced workload (quite dead in winter for 2/3 months) and very busy during season (all the rest of the year.

    Advice to Management

    Please give more opportunities to people who wnats to grow up internally and do not oblige them to move to others' hotels chain because "your friend" has to be placed!
