Does Not promote Employee retention from the TOP down!

    Pros

Will hire a rep from outside the industry to break into the industry or take Pharma reps looking to break into the device world.

    Cons

CEO does not care about retaining employees is only out for the almighty$. Working there even if you are on top of the sales metrics, you are always concerned if you would be the next to go in their semi-annual rounds of RIFFS (layoffs.) Reps that have worked with this company for a longer period of time would constantly tell you to work 2-3 years here and get out. They say this for a reason!! Loyalty is not a strong attribute for this company.

    Good People, Poor Management

    Pros

Good stepping stone for young engineers looking to learn. Flexible work schedule. Fantastic coworkers.

    Cons

Management cares more about the stock price than their employees morale or well being. Board voted to pay out a dividend during COVID just weeks after massive layoffs and obscene salary cuts. Cost cutting initiatives and budget constraints constantly lead to product quality issues. Inability of engineers to purchase the critical tooling necessary to improve manufacturing. Always band-aid solutions so management can get their bonuses which are tied directly to how far under budget they are.

    Honest review

    Pros

Building relationships with Vascular, Cardiac and Neurosurgeons. Minimal reports. Create And work your own schedule.

    Cons

Employee turnover is a real problem here and employees are not happy working here. There is very little training for new reps and no real training program. The company is very cheap and constantly trying to cut costs. Most of the products are old and outdated. The company isn’t changing with the industry. Reps don’t make what is promised on the comp plans. There aren’t any career advancement opportunities here.

    Pros

Very little. Maybe the fact that the commute is outside of Boston.

    Cons

Management only cares about the stock price Management only cares about hitting their personal bonuses and incentives No resources, company is extremely cheap (can't even provide free coffee to employees, they charge) Professional development is non-existent No company culture - employees eat at their desk or shut their office doors during lunch, there is little communication

Entry Level Sales Rep earning Entry level pay

    Pros

Experience building relationships with vascular surgeons

    Cons

If you achieve and exceed plan, don't expect to have the same earnings next year. They compensate on % to quota, so if you were 130% to plan like I was one year, they increased quota on top off that 130% then built my compensation off a percentage of that. I lost over $50k and was 90% to plan the following year. Thats why that company is a revolving door.

Good people but very frat like top corporate culture

    Pros

People are top notch and actually collaborate between departments. Good work life balance overall but can get tough at times. Lots of opportunity to earn side bonuses as every incentive revolves around money or pinball machines at least for people Level 4 and above. Good location.

    Cons

Obscene obsession with cost cutting. Lack of serious investment in infrastructure and people that actually make the devices. Only want to acquire usually old products and then try and fix them, no serious RD work left. Only development but don't want to invest into infrastructure for this type of approach so projects can take forever to go anywhere if at all.
