I have been working at LeanTaaS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Upper management staff are all personable, experienced and brilliant at what they do.

    Cons

This is the best job I've ever had and I can't think of any cons.

    Advice to Management

    Happy hour should be optional.

    Pros

    1. Great team members: Very strong team of engineers, data scientists, product managers
    2. The leadership has a clear idea of how to grow and how to get the right team set up
    3. Interesting problem space: Healthcare has been a big challenge for the nation and the company's mission is to bring down the wait time and waste in the healthcare operations. It's very rewarding to find that you can have real impact on the patients and healthcare providers. It's indeed making the worlkd a better place.
    4. There's not much bureaucarcy and hirerachy. Voice gets heard and people are reasonable.
    5. Free lunches. Reimbursement for gym and public transportation.

    Cons

Nothing much at this moment. Office is a bit crowded?

I have been working at LeanTaaS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone in LeanTaaS has a strong “team” mentality. There is a deep sense of camaraderie and we are all ready to help each other at any time. The strong bond between everyone is something I have never seen at any other place and is what really amazed me when I first joined less than a year ago.

In terms of work life balance, if you are just looking for a standard 9-5 chair-warming job, then this is not the right place for you. We all work extremely hard to help grow and develop the company, so yes sometimes things will get busy and there is the rare occasion where you may have to put in a few hrs over the weekend. However, you always have the flexibility to work from home when you need to take care of your personal agenda and you actually reap the benefits of your hard work which is hugely rewarding.

There are lots of learning opportunities here, and the leadership team is dedicated to helping you develop your professional career above and beyond anything else. For example, you can focus on Product Manager skills while dabbling in a bit of Data Science; you can learn about UI/UX design while you work with an engineer on fixing bugs in the backend; you can help out with Marketing and learn about PR and biz dev, etc. Overall, you just have to communicate clearly about what you want to learn and go grab that opportunity. You learn as you work, and you work while you enjoy your life.

Lastly, a huge plus for me is that I am able to bring my dog into the office at times when I am unable to leave him at home.

    Cons

Having team working sessions are really helpful as great ideas are only willing to come out when great minds collaborate. However, when you happen to have too many working sessions in one day, you are constantly interrupted and makes it difficult to work on the non team-related tasks that are on your plate.

I have been working at LeanTaaS full-time

    Pros

LeanTaaS is a company with a very open culture where bosses openly discuss with the whole company about how the business is progressing and what the future plans are (weekly or so). What's more? Free lunches are ordered a couple times a week, and each employee's birthday is celebrated with a nice cake.

It recently began moving towards a sustainable business model that holds a great promise of rapid growing, with its launch of iQueue -- a healthcare optimization product suite.

Smart people bring good ideas that turn into innovations at LeanTaaS.

    Cons

The data science book "library" is tiny, but it's selective. Peet's coffee and tea is not in the walking distance. Starbucks instead? It's next to the door.

I have been working at LeanTaaS full-time

    Pros

Direct access to senior leadership (CEO and VPs) who are approachable, supportive, and invested in their employees' professional growth. Efforts are made to allow employees to work on projects which interest them and fit with their career path. Work/life balance is emphasized and reassessed often. The company constantly strives provide a healthy and positive workplace, from solid downtime during days off and vacation, to healthy snacks and meals during busy times. Weekly Tech Talks allow the team to come together and learn about different projects, industry trends, and where the company is headed. With regards to overall job satisfaction, interesting projects and the ability to take ownership of/lead projects have both been key to my continued enthusiasm for the work, and the company.

    Cons

Working across different time zones requires a settling in period, but once a rhythm is established, it can be completely manageable and minimally disruptive.

    --great coworkers
competent and fun, couldn't ask for more!
    --great leadership
I've had conversations with every person on the leadership team. Each person was accessible, caring, and smart. I was very surprised by how much attention they gave to each person.
    --exciting outlook
The company is really starting to figure out its product and product/market fit. I expect to see LT really take off with the strategic partnerships they've nurtured.
    --responsibility!
You will be surprised how much responsibility you will have. Your work will matter to the company. Be prepared to make an impact.

    Cons

    --working across different time zones
Working with offshore teams was probably the most disruptive part of the job. There were many night calls/skype conversations.
