    Parents and kids in the community generally are well behaved.

    Cons

    12 hour days-6 days a week including holiday time.

    Advice to Management

    You have exceptionally talented teachers. They are getting burned out and leaving in droves. They love teaching children but a human being can only neglect their family for so long until something has to give.

    Very supportive district that encourages continuous improvement.

    It's a big district and hard to get to know a lot of people unless you are a "go getter".

    Area is growing rapidly so the commute to and from work can be a major pain

    Set up a carpool program.

    A raise and some incentives might keep people from leaving and stressing the department.
    Better health insurance would also be great.

    Allowed to teach freely, lots of help if needed, great people

    Cons

    Pay in central Texas is well below other big cities like Houston, lots of new schools, sometimes things get lost in the shuffle
