I worked at Leander ISD full-time for more than 8 years

      Pros

Great place for Moms who have small children in school. Time off is amazing. 2 months over summer, 1 week during Thanksgiving, 2 weeks off at Christmas, 1 week for Spring Break and some throughout the year.

      Cons

Pay for position and amount of work doesn't match up.

      Advice to Management

Evaluate what Receptionist actually have to do and the size of the school. Some of the schools have 400 students and others have over 900. Yet the receptionist get paid the same amount.

        Pros

Decent pay and love the students

        Cons

The new district administration does not want seasoned employees. They would rather have straight out of school teachers.

I have been working at Leander ISD full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

You get holidays off. You might get to work with some cool people.

        Cons

You get ran into the ground with irrelevant work that distracts from your actual job, teaching. The students are only a number in this district.

        Advice to Management

Maybe find some new board members/superintendent
