    Pros

Children, families, short drive from home

    Cons

    Little pay, over worked staff.
Poor management especially from the higher ups (all they care about is if you're making your budget and cutting down on labor)
Poor cirriculum setup for all age groups
Lack of adequate supplies and equipment for children and staff
Little to no recognition or appreciation for all the hard work you do all day

    Advice to Management

Rethink the way you set up your company. Your turnover rate is so high because you can't afford high quality teachers with actual degrees to apply and stay at your facilities for the amount of money and stress your putting them through. If you actually take the time to invest in hardworking educated certified individuals, many of your schools would not be scrambling trying to find "desparate" hire staff when the certified teachers find a job that is willing to pay them what they are worth. Please take the time to actually care about the employees and children in your care. Their quality of lives matter too.

I have been working at Learning Care Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Families are wonderful and kids are great fun..

    Cons

Pay is terrible for amount of work being done..
Very easy to be out of ratio when low paid staff doesn't show.
More money needs to be made and much more staff appreciation needs to be shown from corporate.

I have been working at Learning Care Group full-time

    Pros

Being able to work with children and having great coworkers!

    Cons

Where do I even start? Classrooms are ALWAYS over ratio and the Director knows she is just to lazy to get out of her chair and help out! When asking to to use the restroom we have to wait at least 45 mins for someone to come in to let us go she never wants to come in! Management (meaning director) is super rude is not personable with staff or parents! There is a lot of gossip going on between the director and other management! Nothing get done on time!

    Advice to Management

    BRING BACK THE OLD DIRECTOR!!!

    Pros

Good benefits. Nice office. They have activities and snacks for different holidays and events.

    Cons

Pay in most departments is very low. Not much room to grow within the company.

I have been working at Learning Care Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

dynamic environment, wonderful co-workers and excellent opportunities. people are willing to work hard and collaborate; not a place where prima donna's are allowed.

    Cons

pay is lower than industry standard which is difficult. the industry is a low paid field - child care - and it's hard to watch such dedicated professionals tasked with so much, get paid so little. not just here but industry-wide.

    Advice to Management

keep up the good work and the focus on work life balance is greatly appreciated by many people there at hq.

I worked at Learning Care Group part-time

    Pros

Great employees, really cared about the kids.

    Cons

Unfortunately the business model puts the kids second. Rather than hire another teacher, kids often got moved around, disrupting their learning.

I have been working at Learning Care Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great environment. Able to receive on the job training pertinent to position. My director is amazing and willing to work with scheduling

    Cons

I haven't had any issues to be considered a "con" really except your pay is based on how much experience you have had in the field of childcare

I worked at Learning Care Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No Pros ...this ship is sinking fast!

    Cons

Everything is a Con, from the poor pay to the constant turnover, over worked employees, and mean district manager. Any job is better than working here. Corporate does not care at all about the kids! They are not spending any money on their buildings or staff. This place has been on a spending freeze, the cook is told to cook whatever she has in the pantry....seriously... The toys are old, the playground is need of repair and is not safe. The staff is lazy because of no pay and constant management turnover. Run.....

    Advice to Management

Learning Care Group is a sinking ship....RUN!
