Commercial Customer Service Representative
What’s the best way to have a lack of compensation and incentive conversation in your department? I went above and beyond for years doing extra work, organizations etc and nothing has been reflected in pay. I thought my 5 year was going to finally show something but it did not. I’ve inquired about pay but it’s gotten nowhere.

Not alot to say, good benefits?
No progression, subjective management reviews, micro management, lots of internal politics to navigate

Reactive company in every sense of the word. No people culture. Only ever up for sales awards, nothing around working culture or people. Commercial employees treated like kings. Treated like children due to mistakes of others (one rule for everyone) Would much rather focus on answering queries and complaints rather than genuinely tackling root cause issues. Customer Service employees treated differently to the entire business, no remote options, call center environment with your every move logged on phones but rather than being upfront about this you will be told it's not a call center. Absolutely awful mental health support. All show and no substance. Car scheme which used to be fantastic is now extremely expensive (better than what you might get as a normal customer elsewhere but still too expensive as an employee benefit) Technology in the office is still very far behind the times also. Customer service, no hybrid working available unless you're a manager. Rest of the business, plenty of hybrid working.
Nothing bad to say about the work life balance, more than enough time to get what you need done in a day and no need to work outside of normal hours unless you choose. Company were good in supporting staff with a cost of living supplement payment on top of regular salary recently.Continue reading

Thank you for submitting this review. We take the topic of diversity and inclusion very seriously at LeasePlan UK and run regular engagement surveys with our employees, several of which include specific questions on this topic. The feedback we receive shows that our employees are generally very positive about our approach to D&I subjects, but we of course never want to be complacent and continue to look for ways to improve. Employees can approach not only their line manager and the HR Team, but we also have nominated ‘trusted’ people who act as a neutral confidential person to approach if required. If you wish to discuss this further and provide additional information please do so via this link - https://www.leaseplan.com/corporate/contacts

Leaseplan offered excellent benefits, including a selection process allowing individuals to tailor their benefits e.g. level of healthcare, dental, time off, pension etc. Other benefits included ongoing training, monthly breakfasts, online resources etc.
None that I can think of.
Thank you for your feedback and really pleased to hear the value of our benefit selection.

Upgraded canteen IT is slowly being upgraded Good location for the office New motorised desks
Management structure - not effective, multiple managers with no real ownership of customers and their accounts. Micro-management style across multiple teams Favouritism in teams with staff, despite working hard and occasional extra hours No solutions to issues, some queries take months to resolve. Customer first attitude being implemented after many years in business Some departments and managers unwilling to help, will ignore queries emails or escalations No collaborative approach between people Same issues for years - customers frustrated at processes The word ‘support’ has no weight, a severe lack of support amongst departments and people Managers need to be more humble and not like they are better than anyone elseContinue reading
