Very cultural diverse company. A perfect job to kick out the career for international students in Australia

    Cons

Management needs to be improved. Management team needs to think about quality of service, rather than simply pushing sales

    Lebara's Revolving Door

    Pros

Not too many really, the best people in the business have left to further their careers elsewhere.

    Cons

Lebara suffers from poor communication which manifests itself in a pervasive blame culture with nobody willing to make a decision for fear of getting it wrong and having to carrying the can with little support from the management team. One review I read before I started said "Lebara, not for the faint hearted" That review couldn't be more true. You really do have to have a strong constitution to deal with the amount of empire building that goes on. Basically if you can handle life in Lebara then you can handle life anywhere.

    Frustrating feelings for the employees

    Pros

Many opportunities to learn about new products and other business areas. Very nice environment and office. Internal professional growth is possible in some case.

    Cons

Very bad management team in the Digital Department. The Senior Managers don't allow the employees growth. They firstly hire people from other areas of the business ( as Customer Service) to cover many other roles, but they pay them less than what the market average is. And at the end of the day, they always treat people who don't directly come from their area as a "second category" of employee, not trusting about the employee real abilities and expertise despite titles or degrees. There are a lots of "egos". The HR department is shameful.

    Pros

The best thing about working for Lebara is the people you work with, they make the work enjoyable

    Cons

Too many politics between departments. HR department are clueless when it comes to policies. Customer service department is a great place to work but the management team need more training, advisors know more than management team. Lebara is very common for people backstabbing each other. Lebara customer service management team does not keep to their promises and deliver. Lebara does not follow their T&C's and are constantly investigated by OFCOM Management theory in customer services department is that if a customer complains give them free credits. Lebara constantly cheats the system on NPS and gets their own people to call through and leave good feedback so they can enter competitions and show how good they are. Recruitment process is not about how good you are but who you know so to develope is very hard. Their are many management people that are not even required by the business so people get paid to do nothing. Lebara constantly talks about it's values but it's unfortunate that more than half the people don't even know what the values are and the ones that do don't believe in them. Lebara systems constantly failing meaning sometimes you sit at your desk doing nothing.

A challenging, culturally driven environment, with weakness at the Executive management level.

    Pros

Fast paced entrepreneurial environment; Opportunities to take on responsibility quickly and be in charge of implementing major initiatives that have a direct impact on the profitabilty of the company.

    Cons

A weak Executive management team leading to poor direction from the top with a lack of a clearly defined strategy and implementation plan on delivering to the company's goals. Lack of ability to deal with the direct competition in the marketplace, with little innovation being shown in the past 12 months to address a declining market-share.
