I worked at Lee College part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work environment at Lee College is very professional and friendly. Employees are consistently helping each other to meet deadlines and to ensure the work they do is accurate. Answers to questions are generously given and explained when known. When unknown, direction is given on how to find them.

    Cons

The greatest challenge to working here involves communication and timely completion of requests for information from various departments. Many departments respond within the needed time-frame; however, several do not which results in reduced productivity, inaccuracy, and unnecessary stress for the requesting party.

    Advice to Management

Raise the standard. ..it is not an option to be late with submission of requested information provided a clear and reasonable deadline is given and barring extenuating circumstances. Crosstrain employees for the time when additional assistance may be needed.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Lee College full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Compensation package is higher compared against other institutions.
Small pool of very talented individuals.
    So much potential

    Cons

Seems a lot like high school all over again. Certain people have positions of authority and if you do not fall in line or if you upset them you can forget about being selected to contribute your ideas or being selected for any advancement opportunities. Has built a reputation for failing at implementation. Could be a benchmark just allows to much influence in to the decision making process.

    Advice to Management

Break up the "clicks ", get individuals more involved by providing more opportunities to contribute, treat people equally.

    Pros

It is a relatively small facility, the patrons are all nice and the manager will work with you on schedules.

    Cons

It is not in the best part of town, but security will escort you if you ask.

I worked at Lee College (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours and Personnel were very good and training was a primary focus. Supervisors were not micromanaging their subordinates and the environment was relaxed.

    Cons

Pay was too low, and security was not in charge of their own equipment especially the firearms. No administrator outside the Security office should be in charge or issue equipment that only is available to Officers.

    Advice to Management

Increase Pay and you will get better quality of employees. You have employees that can not remeber Unit numbers because its too hard for them to do so. That is not acceptable
