I worked at Lee Health (More than a year)

    Pros

    Decent Pay
Ablilty to move up/ transfer positions
    Free employee health care (basic)

    Cons

What can be described as "petty" causes to be written up. Club/gang like environment. Hard to leave a position if leadership dislikes you.

    Advice to Management

Look deep into leadership to discover cause for such high turnover rate within certain departments

I worked at Lee Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Original Director and staff started out great until they moved someone uneducated into the CM department.

    Cons

They obviously don't do background checks on their admin staff. They scrape to find false accusations to write up staff and fire them. They expect their secretaries to train their directors. Hazardous environment at best.

    Advice to Management

Your long timers as just that, there because they are happy. When you move someone in that rips the department apart, you lose. When you fire someone you keep their cafeteria plan money, that came out of their check, a check they worked for. Thieves and micro-managers. You lost a lot of good staff over hiring bipolar people. Do your homework HR. I'll never recommend and will never work at that so called system again.

I worked at Lee Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    good benefits, pay not bad

    Cons

Very stressful enviroment. Night shift works with just 2 techs. Half of 2nd shift is just there to collect a pay check, and put there time in. They won't do extra work like calibrate reagents, they always pawn it off on someone else.

I have been working at Lee Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Today I have none. Obvious that the happy, yippy skippy love this place ratings are done by management to give LMHS a better face than the ugly one they actually wear. Management surrounds themselves with friends and family that will protect them from truth emerging about their inadequacies. Wants their employee survey scores to go up desperately, but are unwilling to actually change. But they are willing to have meeting after meeting to discuss why they don't understand why they have low scores.

    Cons

I don't believe that they really want to change. The more screwed up they remain, the more Lee Memorial thinks they are needed. People are hired and advanced based on who they know, not what they know. Supervisors are blind to the fact that they have real human beings in positions who care. Once you make one of the higher ups angry, you will be subjected to targeting and beaten into submission. Guilty, no trial.

    Advice to Management

Learn that management's failure to listen is YOUR failure. You will always be a failure. Jobs are abundant now. Do us a favor and start looking for one.
