Pros
Good benefits, exellent relationships with patients, office staff and MD’s
Cons
Most offices cannot keep staff. Pay should be better considering there are never bonuses given and max on annual raise is 4%. Should off MA’s 12 hour shifts. Top heavy administration

Good managers make your life easier
Cons
Pay is low, benefits not good. That’s why they lost lots of people and are now desperate to rehire or retain current employees. Not sure if the pay improved but back in 2021 when I left it was low.

Pros
Largest healthcare employer in the county Healthcare benefits are affordable and comprehensive
Cons
Frequent (every few years) reduction of benefits including PTO and 403B match. Fully expect your benefit package to get worse (less benefits) with time. Many positions are 'salary' yet employees are forced to use PTO for even partial day off. Salaries are poorly competitive (low comparable pay compared to national standards). No paid holidays. PTO (very slow accrual) covers vacation, sick time and holidays. Many employees are forced to take holidays without pay if accured PTO can not cover it. Some employees get shift differential and time/half on holidays...others are required to work these shifts without additional compensation (inconsistent policies). Pay increases are rare. Performance evaluations are designed to not allow for highest tier of compensation. Inconsistent application of work policies, such as time off and what constitutes a sick call depending on which department you work. Overall punitive instead of coaching atmosphere regarding sick calls and other events. If you get terminated for cause, expect to be banned for life from working at the largest healthcare employer in the county and it's affiliates. If you take a severance package, expect to be barred from working for the company and it's subsidiaries for a minimum of 12 months and often 18 months or longer. Lee Health is locally infamous for it's non-compete clauses as well, esp in regards to physicians and leaders. Highly do not recommend anyone to relocate for work at this employer- risk is too great to lose access to an employer of this size in the community. Some departments in Lee Health frequently 'redesign' ie force a completely different job on employees than for role originally hired. Not just a process change a totally different role. Controlling atmosphere ie. mandatory vaccines, even for remote workers. FL is a 'right to work' state (ie few employees rights) and Lee Health takes full advantage of these regulations.

Good company that treats employees well. 12 hour nursing shifts. Usually well staffed. Non profit hospital. Biggest employer in the area.
Cons
Puts much of reimbursement burden onto nursing and nursing assistants; Pay for nurses is considerably lower than national average (10%)
