    I worked at Leeco full-time

    Pros

Learning to not work at a places such as this. While there were some truly gifted employees, ultimately, almost nothing that can be considered a 'pro'. Maybe some junk unsupported phones to unload on ebay.

    Cons

Absence of culture, respect, products, communications, leadership. Racist, sexist, foolish leadership at the highest levels resonated throughout.

    Advice to Management

    Find yourself.

I worked at Leeco full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

LeEco is a startup company from China. With a mixes of talent engineers and managements, projects are being work on the 24 hours clock with global team . Since it is a fast-paced working environment, projects schedule is reduce and i love it.

    Cons

Languages barrier is the issue in this work environment

    Advice to Management

Main language should be the universal language and it is English, not native language (Chinese)

    I worked at Leeco full-time

    Pros

    Local team members were great!
    Free lunches (while it lasted)

    Cons

Management in Main Office did listen to folks in the US. Main HW engineering team did not want to meet US carrier requirements, hence we did not get acceptance.
    Lots of seemingly superfluous spending.

    Advice to Management

I wish local teams were given more influence for products that were for our market, so if you try it again, listen.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Understand what you want in real scenario and not in fantasy

    I worked at Leeco full-time

    Pros

The best thing I can say about LeEco is that they hired incredible talent. I worked with some of the brightest folks ever assembled.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the company was controlled entirely by the Chinese HQ, who had zero understanding of US business practices. There was an astonishing amount of hubris from the Chinese leadership as to the value of their US counterparts. The high value talent was for show only, and as is evident by the current state of LeEco, the Chinese leadership team was incompetent in too many ways to describe. I suspect that one day soon, the story of LeEco will be taught at Stanford Business School as a spectacular paradigm of a failed startup.

    Advice to Management

There is no one left to advise. The company is gutted.
