I worked at Legal Placements full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Growing business. Woman-owned, no glass ceiling.

    Cons

Management talks at you, does not listen. Poor mentorship for newcomers to the industry. Management has a difficult time discerning between those who work hard and those who show off.

Unfriendly peers ( I hope this has changed, there was genuine opportunity for a rich and rewarding experience because of few amazing people, but they were not the ones who necessarily set the tone).

    Advice to Management

Stop talking so much, start listening. Develop a more interactive mentor system.

    Pros

I have worked at LPI off and on for four years and absolutely love it here. The environment is fun but yet professional. Management is great and the CEO is "normal". Very nice and fair. My boss, the HR Manager, is terrific.

    Cons

Nothing I can think of. Thankful to get a paycheck

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up.

I have been working at Legal Placements (More than a year)

    Pros

LPI has kept me busy for almost a year. I love them.

    Cons

None that I can think of. I can't seem to get hired on for some reason, maybe the placement fee is too high.

    Advice to Management

Lower your placement fee or shorten your sliding scale (so that temps can eventually get hired).
