    Pros

Sometimes people had birthdays and there was free cake

    Cons

Full to the rafters with bullies and SJWs. It is an arrangement of brown nosing for any progression, even you do a poor job, if you like brown nosing you'll do great.

    Advice to Management

Most of them are very lazy and know that it's an easy role. Therefore there is no movement of management for others to progress, even the brown noses. Listen to employees, treat them like humans and stop destroying people for going to the toilet. Im pretty sure that if you can't even get up and go to the toilet without worrying that you've gone once before then basic human rights are being breached?

I worked at Legal & General Group part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Overall benefit package is good e.g. Pension, share scheme. Flexible employer, family friendly, great team working culture. 35 hour working week is good.

    Cons

Very senior management do not value staff, focus is on cost cutting at the expense of showing the staff that they are what makes the company great.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the staff on the ground and show them that they are valued.

I worked at Legal & General Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, development opportunities . Worked as telesales, quality and business trainer. Learnt a lot about regulation in financial services and training. Reasonable working hours.

    Cons

Progression and wage increases massively reduced dying the downturn in the economy and restricted development opportunities creating repeat work with very little recognition or reward.

    Advice to Management

    Changed since I worked here.

    Pros

Good opportunities within a large firm.

    Cons

Sometimes impersonal due to size of the firm.

  5. "General apathy; good bunch of people; managers protect own backs at all costs; low salaries"

    Pros

Free shares when the company is doing well; generally supportive culture; work environment is less restrictive than other call centre-based workplaces

    Cons

Low wages; when the company doesnt do as well as expected, redundancies are the first thing that will happen; too much 'boom' hiring and 'bust' firing; chance of advancement very limited/non-existent

    Advice to Management

Support the foot soldiers/front-liners and what's more, listen to them - their ear seems to be much closer to the ground than managements
